The Code sets out the highest standards currently available in the jewellery industry and ensures maximum protection of jewellery buying consumers. All JAA members are required to be Code signatories.

Know you have options by accessing free advice on consumer complaints. The JAA can act as a mediator to assist in a resolution with consumers, though cannot legally enforce a resolution.

Thank you for your interest in joining the JAA. Since 1931, the JAA has nurtured, promoted and protected hundreds of individuals, companies and families across Australia to embrace their passion of jewellery and desire for high achievement to create successful and rewarding businesses.
Minimum application requirements are as follows.
Person or Company has an ABN Person or Company has been trading in the jewellery industry in Australia for a minimum of 12 months, or have relevant industry experience Be nominated by a current member of the JAA who you trade with. Alternatively, provide two references from Australian companies you trade with that are not JAA members.
