Experimenting with text and images
FINAL PRODUCT
In addition to my exhibition images, I also created a mockup magazine editorial for Vogue. I also created short clips that would be posted to the magazine social media pages.
MAGAZINE EDITORIAL
For the magazine editorial, I wanted a series of images that tell a story from beginning to end. As the theme of my work is romanticism, this story had to align with the characteristics of that literary style. I chose a story that follows a princess bored of the dull everyday that finds a key to a secret garden. She goes on a journey of self discovery and realises that she was trapped in her life so she must be free and allow herself to be fully present in her life.
FINAL IMAGES
These are my 3 final images. Following the romantic, feminine theme, I chose filters that reflect this. I also utilised my photoshop skills to add in more detail and remove any imperfections to make sure every detail is perfect. Since the beginning of my project I knew I wanted my images to evoke feelings in the viewer whether that be love, hope, escapism or something else.
