Baby Noah was also in attendance, monitoring and overseeing proceedings. Whilst enjoying having her hair styled, Natalie and the bridal party opted to undertake their own make up, chossing subtle blends of caramel tones and autumnal influenced palettes. Mother of the Bride Liz wore a vintage silk dress that belongs to new son-inlaw Ben’s grandmother. A floral head piece, pearls and peeptoe slingbacks reminiscent of 1950’s Hollywood glamour, completed the look.

HEAD OVER HEELS THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE WORE AN off-white, three quarter length haute couture gown of Duchess satin, with a cut away lace-backed bodice and sweetheart neckline. Commissioning a bespoke piece by designer Danielle Taylor, Natalie was involved from the start, “I visited Joel and Son’s to choose the lace, as I envisioned a flattering fiftes inspired dress with a vintage feel to it. I designed the dress along with Danielle, and it was a great creative process. You may notice that the top of the dress is very similar to Kate, the new Duchess of Cambridge. Well she copied me!!! I am such a trend setter, if I do say so myself!”

SOUTHERN ELEGANCE NESTLED ON A PICTURESQUE lakeside setting in the heart of Central Florida, The Cypress Grove Estate House is a classic Georgian mansion. Once through the magnolia flanked gates, the hanging moss cypress tree lined boulevard and majestic water oaks lead to the stately property, on the shores of the sparkling Lake Jessamine. Natalie was introduced to Anna Lockwood working in Guildford at Bar Coast, whilst on a well deserved gap year. “BEN HAD BEEN RENTING THE FLAT ABOVE ME WITH HIS best mate Chris, and I kept having to complain and tell them off for being so noisy. I initially wasn’t interested, especially as he had a girlfriend at the time. I realised it was love when after we’d been dating for a while, Ben came over one evening with wine and a delicious meal he’d cooked for us, and it was very romantic. Another indication that it was getting serious was when Charlie and I went away to Puerto Banus on holiday, and Ben texted me non-stop and started referring to me as his ‘girlfriend’, it was really sweet.”

always wanted to get married but was quite prepared to wait for the right woman, as these things shouldn’t be rushed. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait very long as Natalie came into my life at exactly the right time and we just connected. She completes me. I’m all the more proud to have my dad and brother by my side for such a happy occasion.’

T WAS IN THIS BEAUTIFUL, idyllic setting that Ben and Natalie joined together in matrimony on September 25th 2010, at the scenic Bailiffscourt Hotel. With all the appearance of an ancient manor house, Bailiffscourt’s best kept secret is that until 1927, it didn’t exist. It was designed for Lord Moyne, then Walter Guinness of the brewing family, by the antiquarian and architect, Amyas Phillips. His brief was to recreate a house in the medieval style, which was favoured by Lord Moyne’s wife Evelyn. Phillips searched the country for original stone, woodwork, doors, windows and fireplaces, bringing them all together
at Climping to create the exquisite country house and park that we see today. In 1933 he went on to landscape the gardens to complement the buildings. Throughout the 1930’s, Bailiffscourt played host to the high society of the day until the death of Lady Moyne in 1939, and in 1948 it became a hotel. The couple booked the sumptuous Baylies Honeymoon Suite, Bailiffscourt’s spacious signature room with its vaulted ceiling, four poster bed, wood burning stove and a large bathroom offering a walk-in shower and two classic roll-top baths. Bathing in luxurious opulence, the Taylor’s certainly know how to start married life right.

A MOVING CEREMONY WAS CONDUCTED IN THE atmospheric Tapestry Room, where Ben was able to get his first glance at his beautiful bride. The couple made their vows and exchanged rings whilst guests proudly looked on. Mother of the bride Liz read Us Two, a beautiful piece by AA Milne, and Sam Taylor gave a reading of Love’s Philosophy by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
INTERESTING FACT: PERCY BYSSHE SHELLEY Shelley was a very strict vegetarian, and wrote many pamphlets on the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle, and his second wife, Mary Shelley, was the author of Frankenstein. I T S M Y

Gathering from localised regions including Norwich, Maidstone, Bournemouth and Haslemere, guests marvelled at the beautiful location. The picturesque, traditional setting created the perfect atmosphere. In line with the happy couple’s tastes, the ceremony was simple, sophisticated and heartfelt, moving many of the guests to tears.

Guests enjoyed a chocolate creation with buttercream, fondant icing and sugar roses created by Vicki Warren of Heather Design, she also designed the couple’s invites and wedding website.

Embarrassing speeches, cringeworthy stories, Natalie took it all in her stride however, as it was all a testiment to the abundance of love and good wishes within the room
HUSBAND AND WIFE CUT THE all important cake amid a chorus of applause. After speeches and a sumptuous meal, the guests were ready to shake a leg. The music for the evening was selected by Ben and tracks included old skool 80’s hits such as the Dexys Midnight Runners; Come on Eileen and 90’s favorite Oasis’ Wonderwall. Shapes were thrown throughout the night, until the wee hours.

BREATHTAKING BEACHES, TURQUOISE WATERS, unspoiled location – the islands of the Seychelles are the most authentic islands in the Indian Ocean. This pristine paradise was a perfect backdrop for a romantic honeymoon. Ben and Natalie had fun islandhopping, dividing their time between Praslin, one of the small idyllic Outer Islands and Mahé. Praslin is the second largest island, and featured in the Bounty advert with its secluded beaches and the legendary coco-de-mer growing on ancient palm trees.

THE TAYLORS ENJOYED THEIR LUXURIOUS residence overlooking the island’s beautiful vistas. Sandy beaches, lush greenery and crystal clear waters ensured that the idyllic scenary was postcard perfect. Charlie and Noah took the blazing hot temperatures in their stride and sun protectant was slathered on in abundance. The honeymooning adults were more par tial to a few cocktails...once the kids were asleep of course.

ISLAND PARADISE NATURAL LAGOONS PROVIDE SHELTERED water spor ts and the oppor tunity to swim near pirouetting rays and gliding tur tles; they’re undisturbed sanctuaries, home to an abundance of nesting birds. The Taylors had the pleasure of visiting the island’s wildlife. The Aldabra Giant Tor toise now populates many of the islands of the Seychelles. The Aldabra population is the largest in the world. These unique prehistoric reptiles can be found even in captive herds.

From the Bride and Groom WE CAN’T PUT OUR FAVOURITE MOMENTS IN ANY order as there is so much we enjoyed about our wedding. We loved just being here with family and friends, so we are very grateful to all who attended, it’s something we will always treasure. Another thing we enjoyed, was being able to have the children with us, sharing in our special day. We are so proud of Charlie for being the perfect ring bearer, and Noah who was so well behaved.
