Material properties of Kerto® LVL S-beam in Australia Kerto LVL S-beam material values were tested and analysed by Eurofins Expert Services Oy. The European and ASTM test methods used are in accordance with the Australian test methods according to AS/NZS 4357.2 and AS/NZS 4063.1. The design characteristic values for use with AS 1720.1 are given in the below table. Evaluation of design characteristic values was done according to AS/NZS 4063.2. The joint group was defined according to the standard AS 1649 based on density only. The stress grade was defined according to AS/NZS 4357.0 and AS 1720.1. Kerto LVL S-beam has also certificates 2012001020-1 and 2012001020-2 granted by accessUTS Pty Limited but these certificates will be updated soon.
