SPECFRAME 12.1 ITI Spec Frame® 12.1 is a versatile laminated veneer lumber (LVL) product used for high performace framing components used in residential timber framed construction applications. ITI Spec Frame® 12.1 framing makes for a straight and strong, roof batten. Manufactured from rotary peeled softwood logs, ITI Spec Frame® is carefully graded and arranged to disperse natural defects throughout the product, enhancing its overall strength. The veneers are then bonded using a marine-grade A-Bond adhesive. An insect repellent is incorporated into the glue line to protect against termite and borer attack south of the Tropic of Capricorn.
