After completing the education, the student should have knowledge of: - Basic concepts in the field, how UX looks today, and the history and development of the field. - The four different steps of the UX process: User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and User Interface Design. - Introduction to Design Thinking and Service Design. - Agile work methods and applications within UX. - Knowledge of how to use design software, including Figma. - Knowledge of Wireframing and analog prototypes. After completing the education, the student should have skills in: - Conducting user tests and interviews and compiling these for personal or others' use. - Creating sprint plans and linking requirements to user stories and design. - Being able to independently lead UX workshops. - Constructing design documents using appropriate design software and explaining the decisions. - Creating designs that adapt to different screen sizes and user environments. - Programming web interfaces and web prototypes. - Creating a portfolio with the project work completed earlier during the education. After completing the education, the student should have the competence to: - Develop relevant materials to create user-centered design using digital analysis and statistics tools, as well as personas and customer journeys. - Ensure that the user perspective is maintained throughout the development project. - Work according to agile development processes and apply an agile working method in a team. - Independently design well-crafted interfaces with a documented process. - Independently create prototypes of interfaces for further user testing or delivery using design software. - Create a complete web or application design based on usability and global guidelines. - Create designs in line with other branding, maintaining a focus on high usability and user-centered design.
