ESSENTIAL STEPS FOR A LONGER AND STRONGER LIFE

Physical Wellness Talk

As part of our professional/physical wellness series talk, the club held a talk on September 19 at the Zobel Dining Room entitled Caring for your Heart: Essential Steps for a Longer and Stronger Life. The talk was conducted by Dr. Iris Garcia, a respected cardiologist.

Grand Food Tasting Grand Food Tasting

As a way to promote the club as the ideal wedding venue, a Grand Food Tasting was organized and was held last October 11 at the Ayala Banquet Hall. Much to the participants’ delight, different wedding and party packages were offered and appetizing dishes were served at the event Several freebies like hotel accommodations, live pasta cooking, and free corkage were also given to those couples who booked on that day.

Beer Fest Beer Fest

The much-awaited Beerfest event was held on October 24 at the Ayala Banquet Hall. The crowd danced the night away with the exuberant Family Birth Control Rebirth Band who also serenaded them with music from the yesteryears Attendees also enjoyed the free flowing beer and bar chow prepared by the club

HHalloween alloween

Kids and kids at heart flocked to the club on October 25 to celebrate the Halloween event. Mouth-watering treats like chocolates, candies, ice cream, and popcorn located at the different booths were given to the members’ kids who dined in the club’s food outlets

Induction Ceremony Induction Ceremony

New and life members were welcomed and inducted last September 19, November 21, 2025, and January 16, 2026, at the club’s Induction Ceremony held at the Zobel Dining Room. The ceremony was led by MSCI President Mr. Ed Francisco and Vice-President and Membership Committee Chairwoman Ms. Jennie Guerrero.

Directors and members of the Board were introduced as well as the Management Team headed by Mr. Ron Limbo.

A successful auction was conducted last November 7 at the Dasmarinas Function Room. Mr. Ed Francisco, MSCI President, and Ms. Jennie Guerrero, Vice President and Membership Committee Chairwoman presided over the auction One (1) class A share worth Php 3 Million and one (1) class B share worth Php 2 9 million were sold to members

To usher in the yuletide season, the club held the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 27 at the poolside area. The Board of Directors led by Mr. Ed Francisco were present during the event to show gratitude to the members who have been supporting MSCI for the past 50 years as 2025 also marks the club’s golden anniversary

The Young Voices of the Philippines (YVP) featuring young choristers also entertained the crowd on that night with their mellifluous voices and a spectacular fireworks display lit up the night to signal the holidays and to commemorate the club’s fifty wonderful years.

Free puto bumbong, bibingka, coffee, and delectable canapés and refreshments were given to those present during the occasion.

Employees’ Christmas Party Employees’ Christmas Party

A vibrant and upbeat Employees’ Christmas Party was held last December 23, 2025 at the Ayala Banquet Hall. Loyalty Awards were given to the longest-tenured MSCI employees and dance numbers were also presented by the exuberant participants on that day.

The Board of Directors and the management team graciously welcomed the members and their guests at the Members’ Thanksgiving Cocktails held last January 13, 2026 at the Ayala Banquet Hall. This event is being held annually to show appreciation and gratitude to all the members who have been supporting the club for many years

It was a defining moment for the club as the Collective Bargaining Agreement Signing was held last January 30, 2026, at the Dasmarinas Function Room.

Its primary objectives are to foster harmonious labor relations, promote industrial democracy, and improve work conditions

Directors, union officers, and the management team were present to witness this important event.

Talk: Wealth Management Talk: Wealth Management

The club held a Wealth Management Talk led by Mr. Martin Wong on January 14, 2026 at the Zobel Dining Room.

The talk tackled the modern trends in wealth management and explained ways to build generational money

It was a festive night as Cooky Chua and her band, the Color it Red, entertained the crowd on February 13 in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Cooky Chua and the Color it Red, one of the longest running bands in the Philippines, serenaded the audience with their hit music and own renditions of popular songs

As we usher in the dynamic Year of the Fire Horse, the club prepared a Chinese New Year Lunch on February 16 at the Zobel Dining Room. Scrumptious Chinese dishes were served and, much to the attendees’ delight, free tikoy were given to the diners

Launching of MSCI Commemorative Book Launching of MSCI Commemorative Book

After grueling months of researching, writing, editing, and lay-outing, the MSCI 50th Anniversary Commemorative Book was launched on February 20 at the Dasmarinas Function Room. Purposely made and published to preserve the club’s history, the commemorative book was well-received as it serves as a lasting and tangible tribute designed to honor the club’s achievements The event was well-attended as founders, past presidents, directors, members, and employees gathered together to witness another milestone for the club.

As we end this board year, the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting will be held on April 20, 2026, and will mark the beginning of another year of progress and development as the new set of officers will continue projects and initiate programs that will benefit the members

The Annual Stockholders’ Meeting is being held annually to provide a venue for the Board of Directors to report on the club’s financial performance achievements, and plans for the next board year to the general membership.
