Based in Clarinda, Iowa, Lisle have been making tools since the company was founded in 1903 and is still owned by the same family. In the 1920’s, they made their first automotive specific product - a master ignition vibrator for Ford’s Model T. Today they have a range of over 700 speciality automotive products, many of which are produced on the same site as the original factory. As well as their own Lisle brand, they make for many other leading automotive brands available today. They also operate a hugely successful Ideas Program, which offers any individual with an original tool idea the opportunity to bring it to market. They are currently paying royalties to more than 100 individuals whose tool idea is now being made & sold by Lisle.
