Energy was high and paddles sliced through the water as the first-ever Enduro Quest – Bribie to Caloundra Dragon Boat Challenge took off on June 14, covering a demanding 37km along the breathtaking Pumicestone Passage. Among the four determined crews was host club Dragon Boat Pumicestone, pushing through a gruelling four-and-a-half-hour journey of grit and teamwork. After a hard-fought final stretch, the Maroochy Sea Serpents emerged as champions. But the day was about more than competition, it brought everyone together in the name of community, support and great strength. Read the story on page 4.
