The building extension, an extension of the indology building, embodies a fusion of tradition and innovation. Inspired by master architects. The design brief emphasizes learning from their timeless principles. Employing lightweight materials, the aim was to achieve structural elegance and environmental sustainability while honoring the heritage of indology. This approach not only respects the past but also propels us towards the future, creating a space that seamlessly integrates modernity with the wisdom of architectural pioneers. Through this synthesis, The design seeks to evoke a sense of reverence for the past while embracing the possibilities of tomorrow.

AMBLI HOUSING
Project Level: Educational
Project Nature:Individual Project
Timeline: 4th Semester Assignment (Jan 2022 - May 2022)
Mentor: Ar.Shoonya Kumar
The studio examined patterns of domestic and social life anchored in a settlement in Ambli, an urban village located in western Ahmedabad. Initial studies and documentations explored effects of relationship between people and space on formation of the settlement, dwelling units, and the in-between. Hence, studio explored patterns leading to generating of clusters and the resultant social spaces, and thresholds with homes. Concepts of spatial organisation and space hierarchies, transition and thresholds, architectural responses to transparency and privacy, and elements of thresholds were explored in unit and cluster design.
Cluster with the different typology of houses.

Project Nature: Group Project
Timeline: On site construction [Aug 2023-Sept 2023]
The project is an embodiment of ecological responsibility and innovative design. Drawing inspiration from the common practice of discarding coconut shells after quenching one’s thirst, we’ve envisioned a pavilion constructed entirely from used tender coconuts. The extended biodegradation period of these shells serves as a poignant reminder of the environmental impact of thoughtless waste disposal.
This pavilion serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it acts as a poignant reminder of our responsibility towards the environment, offering a visual commentary on the need for conscious material choices. Secondly, it serves as a testament to the power of regeneration and recycling in architecture. As visitors engage with this organic, coconut-inspired pavilion, they will immerse themselves in an environment that seamlessly merges with the surrounding natural landscape.

MODULAR SCHOOL
Project Level: Educational
Project Nature: Group Project
Timeline: 2nd Semester Assignment (JAN 2023)
Mentor: Ar. Aayushi Motiwalla
The design brief articulates our overarching goals, emphasizing the creation of adaptable, functional, and eco-friendly learning spaces. Anchored in a visionary concept, the modular units are designed with careful consideration for spatial organization, materials, and technological features. An exploded design provides a detailed breakdown of each module, showcasing elements and specifications for clarity in construction. The adaptability of the modules for diverse functions within an educational context is explored, ensuring flexibility without compromising sustainability. Scaling up, the overall school design integrates multiple modules cohesively, emphasizing communal spaces and aesthetic coherence. Lastly, the project extends its versatility by addressing the adaptation of the modular design for a different climate zone, showcasing our commitment to sustainability in diverse environmental contexts.

TINY HOUSE COMPETITION
Project Level: Competition
Project Nature: Group Project
Timeline:July, 2023
The design utilizes wooden stick frames, controlled by AI, to cater to various needs such as entrances, ventilation, and lighting. Additionally, the outer walls serve as exhibition spaces. The house is divided into multipurpose, service, public, and sleeping areas. The multipurpose space functions for living, recreation, and dining, while the service core includes the kitchen, toilet, storage, and utilities. The public space is designated for exhibitions. Moreover, the house is prefabricated and transportable in a caravan.

INTERNSHIP at NSAD
Project Level: Miscellaneous
Project Nature: Interior,Services and Model making
Timeline: 5th Semester(June 2023 - July 2023)
Mentor: Ar. Nachiket Shelat and Ar. Nishita Kedia
During my one-month internship, I actively contributed to an interior design project by assisting in the creation of service drawings and constructing a physical model of an architectural project. Engaging in service drawings, I gained hands-on experience in translating design concepts into practical plans for electrical. Additionally, I collaborated with the team to craft a detailed physical model, which provided a tangible representation of the proposed design for client presentations and project visualization. This internship offered valuable insights into the intricacies of interior design and reinforced my skills in drafting and model-making.
