This introduction to environmental health provides an overview of the methodologies and tools used to assess environmental exposure, epidemiology and health impact of air pollution, noise, water contamination, metals, pesticides, persistent and non-persistent chemicals, radiation and green space in low, medium and high income countries.

Practical details Location: Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona C/ Casanova, 143, Barcelona Dates: 7 - 15 May 2014 Classes take place Monday-Thursday from 9.00 to 13.30 h. Language of instruction: English Deadline for application: 9 April 2014 Deadline for tuition payment: 23 April 2014 Tuition fees: 450€ Credits: 3 ECTS credits Students who successfully finish the course receive a certificate of completion.
