ISAAC REGION’S 2020 AUSTRALIA DAY AMBASSADOR - SCOTT STIDSTON OAM

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said it was an honour to have Mr Stidston as the Isaac region’s Australia Day Ambassador. “Scott is a great advocate for improving the quality of life for people with a disability,” Mayor Baker said. “Scott has increased awareness of spinal injury, promotes inclusive communities and has seen significant improvements in infrastructure and services through his continued advocacy. “His own motorcycle injury that left him a quadriplegic has never stopped him contributing to the community and campaigning for those with a disability.

CLERMONT WILL CELEBRATE AUSTRALIA DAY AT CENTENARY PARK 5pm to 9pm

There will be a street parade, official ceremony with Australia Day Awards and Australia Day Ambassador Scott Stidston. Activities include free sausage sizzle, horse carriage and pony rides, jumping castles, kid’s activities, rock climbing and mechanical bull ride.
