Abstract - Sensory design is the very essential component of a successful wellness environment. Sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch—all five senses participate in this concept of sensory design for encouraging emotional, mental, social, and physical changes in those using wellness environments. The ultimate purpose is to explore how sensory wellbeing through architectural design in these spaces can support overall wellness performance by reducing stress, designing with color psychology, improving moods, and recovering clients. This paper focuses on the importance of sensory design in psychological, mental, and social wellness, including the architectural designing of wellness centers . 1.INTRODUCTION In this fast world, with hustle & bustle everywhere, today's architectural requirements try to bring balance, reduce stress levels, and improve our complete health. The wellness center’s demands are growing as they directly impact physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Current wellness centers include resources like yoga, massage therapy, spa treatments, and health guidance, but creating an atmosphere that will improve physical, mental, emotional, and social healing with relaxation and rejuvenation needs proper research. This is because current wellness centers highly lack in design concerning sensory elements. For this purpose, research on designing wellness centers is important. The best way to increase the healthy experience is going through the sensory design. Purposeful use of the five senses that give us sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste is related to creating the best atmosphere to motivate good health. Designing the spaces by keeping in mind sensory factors like music, lighting, color, textures, and scents is crucial. To improve the effect of our mood stress level and good health. For example, light colors and relaxing sounds can help us to reduce uneasiness or stress. Also, pleasant scents can increase our relaxation This research explores how sensory design plays a vital role for wellness centers by examining its effect on clients' medicinal results with the help of a sensory environment it is possible to improve healing process which will guide wellness centres in designing spaces. That will promote well-being, interest a more ambitious, and experience a sense of health
1.1 WHAT IS SENSORY DESIGN : Sensory design is a comprehensive approach to formulating experiences that restore and engage many senses at the same time. It will focus beyond how something looks, and how it feels, sounds, smells, and tastes through implementation of passive and sensory design aspects. Instead of focusing on just one sense, designing through multi-sensory involvement more deeply creates more unforgettable and meaningful experiences.
1.2 BRIEF HISTORY & TIMELINE OF SENSORY DESIGN IN WELLNESS CENTERS : In wellness centers, Sensory design has been extremely developed over many years and softly established in ancient practices and formed by modern improvements. In the past, conventional therapeutic methods such as Ayurveda in India, baths in Rome, Zen philosophy in japan, and medicines of china incorporated sensory elements to promote overall well-being with the use of
