By amalgamating Flask's web capabilities with image processing functionalities, this system offers a user-friendly interface for attendance tracking, minimizing administrative burdens and fostering proactive engagement with student attendance discrepancies.
Furthermore, the application offers an innovative feature to address attendance discrepancies effectively. At the end of each month, administrators can execute a single-click action to trigger automated email notifications utilizing the yagmail library. This functionality enables administrators to promptly notify students whose attendance falls below the 50% threshold, fostering accountability and encouraging active participation.
