The primary sources of noise pollution in Kanpur City include large electricity generators, NH-91 transit, traffic on various state roads, and several industrial zones. In recent years, India's urbanization, industrialization, construction sector growth, and road transportation infrastructure have all led to excessive noise pollution, which is severely damaging to both human and animal life. This study found that those who live next to a highway experience high levels of traffic noise, which can lead to headaches, sleeplessness, trouble focusing, heart discomfort, a decrease in color perception, sadness, and tiredness problems. When noise levels continue to climb over the stated tolerable limits, there is a greater risk to the health of the exposed population, hence certain important control measures must be implemented first. To determine the daytime and nighttime sound levels in Kanpur City, a Noise Level Meter was used to measure traffic noise along National Highways (NH-91) corridors passing close to the city at four distinct zones (Silence Zone, Commercial Zone, Industrial Zone, and Residential Zone) and five specific locations. It was determined that the noise level was within the CPCB's approved noise standard level. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) model uses traffic volume and speed data to predict traffic noise.
2. IMPORTANCE 2.1 Historical Kanpur is a major industrial city in Uttar Pradesh, India's northernmost state. This town is located 80 kilometers west of Lucknow, the state capital, on the Ganga's south bank. It's also known as the state's industrial capital. Raja Hindu Singh of the Sachendi dynasty is credited with establishing this city. Kanpur's original name was Kanhpur. The city is located in the ancient Kanpur, Patkapura, Kuraswam, Juhi, and Seemamau villages during the latter time of Awadh's dominion, regardless of whether it is supposed to be associated with the heroic Karna of the Mahabharata period or the city's genuine originator, King Hindusi. It was formed at a conference. The monarchs of Kannauj and Kalpi, and later the rulers of the Muslim overlords, continued to control this town and the surrounding territory.
2.2 BUSINESS One of the country's most well-known industrial towns is Kanpur. It was referred to as the Manchester of Asia and was well-known around the world for producing apparel. Most of the factories that produced apparel were eventually shut down. Today, Kanpur is renowned worldwide for its leather industry.

1.INTRODUCTION
In summary, Kanpur has a wide variety of business prospects, with a burgeoning local tech sector and strengths in manufacturing, leather, and textiles. Understanding the unique requirements and difficulties of every industry can help firms prosper in this ever-changing and dynamic market.
Unwanted noises are known as noise. The English term "noise" derives from the Latin word nausea. "Off-base sound in the wrong place, at an unacceptable time" is one way to characterize noise. Noise pollution has various, inescapable, diligent, restorative, and socially significant potential consequences on well-being. Noise has direct and compounded detrimental impacts on well-being and taints private, social, professional, and educational situations, causing both physical (money) and intangible (prosperity) disasters. It disrupts sleep, attention, communication, distraction, vegetation, animals, and birds. Despite the fact that noise pollution is a "moderate and unobtrusive executioner," practically every effort has been made to
