SEARCHING FOR THE LOST SHEEP A Novena of Hope for Fair and Just Housing in Seattle and King County The Housing Advocacy Committee, comprised of members from St. James Cathedral and St. Joseph, St. Therese and Christ Our Hope parishes, invites you to pray a 9-day novena for our unhoused sisters and brothers, and to learn about issues intertwined with the housing crisis in Seattle and King County. Heeding the message of the Parable of the Lost Sheep, we are called to make a preferential option for the poor and the vulnerable by caring for our neighbors who struggle with securing and maintaining safe and stable housing. July 24, 6:30pm: Opening Novena Prayer at St. Therese Church July 26-August 1: Days of Novena Prayer Every morning of the novena, the daily prayers will be emailed to participants, who can then pray the novena at any time suitable for their schedules. August 1, 6:30pm: Contemplative Prayer with music from Taize at St. James Cathedral. On the first Friday of August, novena participants are invited to gather together to conclude the novena for fair and just housing in our region.
