Your journey through the forest on the Treetop Walk begins as the boardwalk makes its way out over the Avonmore River valley and as the land falls away you will soon see spectacular views from Lovers’ Lookout across the valley.
The forest habitat surrounds you and the natural gradient of the land means that although the walkway does not climb or descend more than a few degrees you will see all the different levels of trees around you from ground level right up to the forest canopy. At one point the walkway is over 23 metres above

Louise has over 35 years of teaching experience and working in many different areas of the golf club industry. She trained in Stackstown G.C for a short while where Padraig Harrington was still an amateur and member there.
Louise then got the job of head assistant at Elm Park golf club where she qualified from the PGA headquarters in the Belfry.
From there Louise went on to teach in Germany at a massive golf training centre, with facilities for over 200 people practicing at the same time, 9-Hole public course and 18-Hole private members club. Here she coached along-side the national coach, where Martin Kymer was a young and upcoming talent.
She returned to Ireland to coach at the most modern high tec Swing Studio in Celbridge. From there, the GUI were keen to have her on
their team at the inception of the now named GI Academy in Carton House. Louise helped develop the Junior training programme which is still going from strength to strength.
For the last 8 years, Louise was the Head Professional of Wicklow Golf Club. One of the first women to be hired to a private members club in Ireland.
Now Louise is focusing on teaching again full-time where she gives great one to one lessons in Gormanstown Driving Range A67 X031 in Wicklow.
She is also helping other PGA professionals with their teaching
groups, where their members get great golf lessons from Louises experience. Giving her PGA peers more time to deal with Head professional duties.
Louise is also available to clubs who need a coach to mind their teams golf tuition and beginner’s programmes.
One of Louise’s joys of the job is not only to teach and get that eureka moment with her client’s but to do that in the sun! Along with business partner Killester Travel, Louise is organising tuition trips for game improvement, golf holidays with clinics and fun day trips.

This year’s Bray Jazz Festival on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd next will feature performers of more than a dozen different nationalities, including the USA, UK, Cuba, Mongolia, France, Ukraine and Palestine. Leading players in jazz in Ireland will also feature on a programme that will present over 40 concerts, recitals and jazz trail shows in the North Wicklow town over the bank holiday weekend. in Ireland.
