CEO’ S MESSAGE:

SEÁN O’DRISCOLL

Dear Colleagues, Welcome to our final addition of Team Talks for 2025. As we come to the end of the year, we reflect on all that has been achieved in 2025. It has been an extremely busy year for the 14 hotels in the group, with an average hotel occupancy of 82% this year. This year we hosted 412 weddings and our sales team generated almost €10 million in conference, meeting & event sales. Our guests continue to be very satisfied with their experience with our average group Booking.com score of 8.5 out of 10 and an 83% satisfaction on TripAdvisor. Many of our hotels have fantastic rankings on TripAdvisor, for example: Tullamore Court Hotel is ranked the No. 1 hotel in Co. Offaly Springfield Hotel is 2nd of 22 hotels in Co. Kildare voco Belfast is ranked 6th of 53 hotels in Belfast Ariel House is ranked 21st of 185 hotels in Dublin We’re extremely proud that The iNUA Hotel Collection has earned Great Places to Work accreditation for the third year, with 13 hotels recognised. Thank you for your valuable feedback. This year, we celebrated many graduations: 17 colleagues completed the supervisory development programme, 12 finished the management development programme, and 4 earned Level 6 Professional Cookery qualifications. I want to particularly congratulate our 4 colleagues who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel Management: James Keegan, Radisson Blu Sligo Ryan Dunleavy, Radisson Blu Cork Catherine Ramirez, Fairways Hotel Dundalk Dean Farrell, Muckross Park Hotel We have published our 2025 Gender Pay Gap Report, now available on the iNUA website. This year, 57% of promotions went to women, with 51% of senior leadership roles held by women, and strong female participation in our supervisory and management development programmes. The median salary gap has narrowed from 2.4% last year to just 1%. We remain committed to gender equality in management, pay, and benefits, and will continue to work towards this goal.

On 2nd December, we had the pleasure of hosting the iNUA Collection Leadership Conference & Awards Dinner at The Tullamore Court Hotel. It was a memorable evening dedicated to recognising the passion, dedication, and achievements of our outstanding colleagues. My heartfelt congratulations go to this year’s Leadership Award winners - please read on to discover the remarkable individuals honoured in each category, including Operations, Sales, Finance, People & Culture, and more. Cliste Christmas Jumper Day! On Monday, 15th December, our Cliste crew brought plenty of festive cheer to the Cork and Bracetown offices for Christmas Jumper Day, all in support of Down Syndrome Ireland. With colourful jumpers on display, we caught up over coffee and mince pies, and together raised a brilliant €545 for DSI. Thank you all for joining in the fun and making it a heartwarming success!

The iNUA Hotel Collection: Six Years with Down Syndrome Ireland & New ValueAble Network Collaboration The iNUA Hotel Collection and Down Syndrome Ireland are celebrating six years of partnership with the announcement that each hotel has been officially accredited by the European ValueAble Network, making the group the first Irish company to achieve this prestigious European certification for inclusive employment. The ValueAble Network, co-funded by Erasmus+, promotes inclusive employment across eight European countries by connecting hotels with organisations that support individuals with intellectual disabilities. As part of this collaboration, the Radisson Blu Limerick welcomed four Italian students and two tutors from the ValueAble Network for a twoweek Erasmus+ work placement, the first of its kind in Ireland. We are very proud to be the first hotel group in Ireland to join this impactful network, demonstrating our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Heart in Motion Challenge – Spring 2025! Get moving this spring with our Heart in Motion Challenge, supporting Down Syndrome Ireland and promoting mental health and wellbeing. Whether you prefer walking, running, cycling, swimming, or dancing, you can take part as an individual or team up with colleagues. Stay tuned for full details in the New Year! Let’s get active together for a great cause!

AWARDS 2025

iNUA Management Awards Conference 2025: Celebrating Leadership, Teamwork, and Hospitality The iNUA Hotel Collection Awards 2025, held at the Tullamore Court Hotel on 2nd December, brought together colleagues to celebrate excellence and connection within our group and the industry. We had engaging panels, insightful speakers, and a vibrant atmosphere that highlighted the strength of collaboration across the Collection. From thought-provoking industry discussions to an evening of celebration, the conference encapsulated our dedication to creating positive, sustainable, and inclusive workplaces.

Opening Remarks The day commenced with our wonderful MC Mark Moynihan, and a warm welcome from iNUA Hotel Collection CEO Sean O Driscoll, acknowledging the collective achievements of the past year and setting the tone for a day centred on learning, growth, and recognition.

AWARDS 2025 Garret O’Neill opened the day’s presentations with a reflective overview of our Guest Feedback Trends for 2025. He shared key results and insights from our group quality scores, pinpointed areas for enhancement, and discussed guest feedback alongside emerging patterns, setting the scene for a day focused on continuous improvement and excellence.

Guest Speaker: Liam Sheedy A highlight of the conference was the keynote address by Liam Sheedy, former Tipperary hurling manager and current Head of Leadership Development at Consello Ireland. Liam spoke passionately about leading by example, encouraging everyone to ‘walk the walk’. His talk emphasised the importance of energy, presence, and intentional action in leadership, drawing parallels between sports and business coaching. He inspired attendees to show up for themselves and their teams, building environments where positivity and high performance thrive.

The View from Our Clients:

Great Place to Work 2025 We were delighted to share the results of our 2025 Great Place to Work survey, which truly reflected the remarkable culture fostered across our hotels by our dedicated teams. With an impressive 82% participation rate and a Trust Index score of 75%, this year has seen significant improvements in colleague engagement, organisational culture, and career development opportunities. Thank you to everyone for making the iNUA Hotel Collection outstanding - and for ensuring our hotels remain truly exceptional places to work!

Panel Discussions and Talks

Led by Mark Moynihan and joined by Roisín Flynn, Michelle Kavanagh, Niamh Kenny, Anne Marie Nulty and Denise Meeneghan, the panel discussed the importance of listening to clients and providing bespoke recognition. Examples included personalised gifts for guests and the growing significance of sustainability investments. Client feedback continues to shape service delivery and organisational priorities.

People & Culture: Trevor McCarthy and panellists Andrew Lambert, Hayley Norton, Lisa Barrett-Hollowed, Madina Zikare and Brian Harrington, focused on initiatives supporting onboarding, retention, colleague engagement, and career development. The discussion highlighted impressive examples of internal progression and the supportive culture within the iNUA Collection.

We had a wealth of panel discussions throughout the day, with esteemed colleagues giving their valuable insights and thoughts.

Enhancing Guest Experience: Chaired by Garrett Power and joined by Daniel Cross, Jonathon Officer, Patrick Davidson, and Guarav Joshi, this panel explored how authentic hospitality is defined by personalised service and empowered teams. Supporting Local Causes: Incredible charitable donations to Counselling and Domestic Violence Services The conference continued to spotlight trending topics, with AI remaining at the forefront of industry conversations. Emer Hallahan delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the transformative potential of AI in driving online business success, while Ruairí McLaughlin built upon this by offering insights into how artificial intelligence may soon reshape hotel operations, enhancing both efficiency and guest experience.

We are delighted to share that together we raised an incredible €2,350 for two very worthwhile local organisations throughout the event. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed on the night - your generosity will make a real difference in our community! Our chosen charities are Accessible Counselling Tullamore and Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services. Accessible Counselling Tullamore’s mission is to support people in the community in maintaining positive mental health by providing effective and accessible counselling and psychotherapy services. Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services began in 1997, originally named Offaly Women in Crisis, as result of the work of volunteers whose lives had been affected by domestic violence.

We were honoured to host this year’s iNUA Conference & Awards at the Tullamore Court Hotel. Choosing Accessible Counselling Tullamore and Offaly Domestic Violence Support Services was important to us because both charities provide essential support to people in our local community during times of need. Thank you to our colleagues across the group who supported our chosen charities and help make a positive impact. Philip O’ Brien, General Manager at the Tullamore Court Hotel
