ISP High School Diploma
The ISP High School Diploma, accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges in the USA as well as the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, allows students the flexibility to pursue our wide variety of International Baccalaureate and ISP elective courses in unique and flexible combinations.
ISP IB Diploma Programme
As an IB World School, ISP is able to offer students a wide variety of academic choices within the IB Diploma programme. With multiple course options in each of the six key subject areas students can create an IB Diploma that meets their unique academic goals.

Self-Study Courses
IB Language A
Students who wish to take a IB language A course in their mother tongue work with a supervised outside tutor to meet the requirements and preparation for the IB Language A course set by the IBO. These classes appear on the transcript, however grades and credit are not awarded. Students complete all assessments for the IB and receive IB results.

Independent Study
Students may petition to fulfill up to one credit requirement with an independent study course. Proposals must outline a rationale, list the course of study, and state the evaluation process. Independent Studies are graded pass/fail.

ISP IB Career-related Programme
Through partnerships with universities and specialty training institutes both here in Prague and virtually, the IB Career-related Programme at ISP offers students the opportunity to pursue a focused academic interest area to a very high level while also completing International Baccalaureate coursework here on campus.

180 instructional days; 2 semesters; block schedule with 10 day rotation and 65 minute classes. School calendar is Mid August to Mid-June.
All Graduates receive a U.S. high school diploma.
We do not provide class rankings or GPA. There is no ranking system that would adequately account for highly transitory international students.

Co-curricular activities
ISP offers a variety of CEESA sports, ISP Ambassadors, Model United Nations (MUN), National Honor Society (NHS), Speech & Debate, Earth Club, Knowledge Bowl, Media Correspondent, Duke of Edinburgh, Robotics, Aeronautics, Spectrum, Dance Crew, Drama productions, Amnesty International, community service, student government (STUCO), and others.
ISP Projects and Extended Learning
Week Without Walls is a week-long experiential learning opportunity that provides students with a cultural, personal, interpersonal and environmental experience. During this week, students learn, reflect and grow as individuals and in the community.
Stretch Days are extended learning opportunities that are offered 5 times a year. These days provide additional time for special projects or subject-focused learning experiences to happen.
TEDxYouth is produced by ISP students. ISP‘s TEDxYouth allows students to work on every event component, including publicity, sound, media, programme, posters, theatre tech, tickets and more.

Grade Distribution for the class of 2026 (Grade 11)
12th grade students enrolled in year 2 IB courses are required to sit the IB exams in May.
ISP is non-selective in IB Diploma enrollment.
SAT scores are not reported due to the small number of test takers.
