COMMUNITY UPDATE DIRECTOR’S UPDATE Dear Community, The past couple of weeks at ISB have been full of energy and connection, highlighting what makes our community so special. Last weekend, we celebrated one of the most anticipated events of the year – Homecoming. It was great to see so many families and alumni back on campus, cheering on the Raiders, enjoying local food trucks, and reconnecting with friends. Special congratulations to the Class of 2000, who marked their 25-year reunion and reflected on how ISB has grown and evolved over the years. My sincere thanks to our Athletics, Alumni, and Campus Support Teams for making this event another memorable success. Earlier this week, we were honoured to welcome Professor Yong Zhao, a leading voice in educational research, who met with parents, students, and faculty to explore the role of AI in education. His message reinforced our shared belief that education should nurture individual strengths and passions while fostering self-agency – the confidence and ability to take ownership of their learning. At ISB, we are committed to exploring how innovation and personalisation can help our students develop the skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world. These discussions are an important part of how ISB continues to ensure that our students are truly future-ready. Looking ahead, the ISB Board of Trustees has announced the selection of Dr. Allan Weston as our new School Director, beginning in August 2026. Allan will visit campus this spring to meet our community and begin the transition process. I am confident his experience and leadership will guide ISB toward continued excellence in the years ahead. Thank you for your continued trust and enthusiasm as we work together toward ISB's bright future. Wishing you a great weekend!
