The Lord Jesus revealed in the Tabernacle - Part XII

February 15, 2026
Summary of the president’s message
The Sunday Bible School held on February 15th, 2026, took place live, directly from Mahanaim in Domingos Martins, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, with the participation of Pastors Alexandre Gueiros, Gilson Sousa, and Diniz Cypreste.
Message from Pastor Gilson Sousa:
We greet all the brethren with the peace of the Lord Jesus! The Lord has already made His presence known among us, showing through certain revelations what He desired to accomplish in this Sunday Bible School.
• A golden scroll was opened over the pulpit. On this scroll were prepared three moments of the Lord’s work for the church: a time of deliverance, of healings, and of praise to the Lord.
• A great light shone upon the Word of God (Bible), so that each person could identify the secrets of the Word that were not yet known.

• As the Sunday Bible School began, a golden thread surrounded all the pastors and churches. At the end, all the brethren, bound together by this cord, enjoyed the same fellowship.
• The Lord showed that drops of blood were falling directly into the hearts of the brethren to provide life and life more abundantly in every heart.
The foundational text for this Sunday Bible School is found in the book of Exodus:
“And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. So you shall
speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments, to consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest. And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to Me as priest.
“They shall take the gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and the fine linen, and they shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, artistically worked.” Exodus 28:2-6
Message from Pastor Diniz

Cypreste:
I greet everyone with the peace of the Lord.
According to the biblical text previously read in the book of Exodus, we will speak about the prophetic aspect of the garments of the High Priest.
“For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.” Hebrews 10:1
Both the Law and the Tabernacle are shadows of things to come.
The High Priest was a figure of the Lord Jesus, the eternal Priest. Unlike Aaron, the Lord Jesus is a Priest according to the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7). Aaron’s garments prophetically represented the
various functions of the priesthood of the Lord Jesus.
These garments were holy and had a purpose: they were for glory and for beauty. In these garments we see glory and beauty in the person of the Lord Jesus. In the Holy Place, the High Priest entered regularly. But into the Most Holy Place, he entered only once a year, and when he did, he wore
different garments.
In the Holy Place, he entered wearing garments of glory and beauty, a type of the Lord Jesus who, in glory, lives in the presence of God the Father, interceding for us. Jesus stands before the Father adorned with all His glory.
The Colors of Aaron’s Garments

Aaron needed to clothe himself with these garments, which speak to us of the beauty of the holiness of Jesus. The colors were gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen.
Gold speaks of the eternal glory of the Lord Jesus. The other materials and colors are prophetic because they reveal the person of the Lord Jesus in His incarnation, as presented in the four Gospels. Purple points to the royal dignity of the Lord Jesus. This is seen in the Gospel of Matthew, which presents Jesus as King, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Son of David.
Scarlet reminds us of the suffering of the Lord Jesus as the Suffering Servant. The Gospel of Mark presents Jesus in this character of the Servant.
Fine linen represents the perfect humanity of the Lord Jesus, pure and without sin, revealed in the Gospel of Luke, where He is presented as the perfect Man
Blue reveals the heavenly character of the Lord Jesus: the Word who became flesh. God who became Man and dwelt among us, as shown in the Gospel of John.
When the ephod was woven, which was like an apron worn over all the priestly garments, all the threads were interwoven with gold. Whoever looked at the ephod could see the brightness of the gold reflecting the glory of God. Jesus is God who became Man, and whoever sees Him can behold the glory that was upon Him. He was King, yet He became a Servant out of love of us.
We may ask why there was no Gospel to represent gold. It is
because He laid aside His glory in eternity when He became Man. Yet during His earthly ministry, His humanity was interwoven with the glory He had with the Father before eternity. In Christ, divinity and humanity are perfectly united.
““Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”
John 17:24
We have seen the glory of the Lord Jesus. Many know only the history of Jesus, but we know the risen Jesus, and we know His glory. That was His prayer to the Father: that we might be with Him and behold His glory.
The Ephod
The ephod had two shoulder pieces with onyx stones, one on each shoulder. Each stone had six names of the tribes of Israel engraved on it. They were set in gold, meaning they were sustained by gold. This speaks of the Lord Jesus who sustains us and carries us upon His shoulders. The number six speaks of man; man sustained by the power of God. The shoulders speak of strength and power. Christ sustains us through His power.
The stones Aaron carried were for a memorial. The Lord does not forget us. We are weak, but He is mighty. He sustains us by His power. The two onyx stones show us that Jesus bore our iniquities upon Himself and carried the weight of our sin.
“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5.
We are here, but the glory belongs to Him. We are filled with gratitude for all He has done for us and for all He continues to do as our High Priest.
The names engraved on the stones speak of eternal security. Our standing before God does not depend on us, but on His power.
The names of the twelve apostles are engraved as the foundations of the Church, and our names are engraved by the High Priest who loves us.
“Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Revelation 21:14.
The Breastplate of Judgement
Over the ephod was the breastplate of judgment. It speaks of the sentence, of what He established for us. It was made of the same materials, which speaks of what was in Christ Jesus when He became Man: love, the will of the Father, and love for the Church. The breastplate was like a pouch a span in length and a span in width. It was square and doubled. On it were mounted stones in four rows, each row containing three stones, totaling twelve stones. The number four, represented in the four rows, points to the revelation of Jesus as Man. The number three speaks of the Trinity. The name of the sons of Israel was engraved on each stone. It is the wonderful
truth: the name engraved on the shoulder, representing the weight of our sin that He bore, and engraved over His heart, which speaks of His love for us. If the shoulder speaks of power, the breast speaks of the heart and of love. We are sustained by His strength and kept by His love. Each stone shows the uniqueness of each one of us. We are different, yet we are set in gold, sustained by the power of God. The Lord chose us, carries us on His shoulders, and over His heart through His love.
The Church longs for this love, for she desires to be loved by the Lord Jesus.
“Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame.” Song of Solomon 8:6.
Such is the love of the Lord Jesus for us. It is a love that does not change; it is constant.
The belt of the ephod was made of the same five materials. The belt speaks of active service and of the readiness of the Lord Jesus to serve.
“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” Ephesians 6:14.
Under the ephod there was a robe entirely of blue. The opening for the head was in the middle of it. On the hem of this robe were pomegranates and bells. The pomegranates speak of the shedding of His blood, which was the greatest expression of His love. They were made of blue, purple, and scarlet. The golden bells were placed between them, alternating, one golden bell and
one pomegranate. The bells were so that all could hear their sound, showing that the High Priest was alive.
The all-blue robe reinforces the heavenly character of the love of Christ. The pomegranates speak of spiritual fruit. The bells speak of an audible testimony: Jesus is alive.
In the breastplate of judgment were placed the Urim and Thummim. They were stones placed over Aaron’s heart to bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart when he entered before the Lord. These stones were used to inquire of the Lord’s will. Urim means “lights,” and Thummim means “perfections” or “truth.”.
The Urim and Thummim revealed what was in the Lord’s heart. Today we experience this reality. We can know His will and what is in His heart, His love for us. Therefore, we feel security when we seek the Lord, because our High Priest loves us with everlasting love.
I greet all the brethren with the peace of the Lord. We continue speaking about the garments of the High Priest. The High Priest wore a turban, and upon the turban there was a plate of pure gold engraved with the words: “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” (Exodus 28:36). This reveals the thoughts of the Lord Jesus, which are holy, inspired by love for God and by the desire to do the Father’s will.
What was the purpose of the gold plate? Aaron would bear the iniquity of the holy offerings of the children of Israel, that they might be accepted before the Lord. No matter how holy our offerings to the Lord may seem, they do not reach the level of holiness required by Him. But Jesus intercedes (prays) for us so that our offerings may be accepted by God.
Holiness was upon the forehead, visible and declared. God receives our worship not according to our limitations and imperfections, but according to the perfection of the feelings of Jesus, who in all things desired to please the

Father.
Everything we do for God is marked by imperfection. Something is always lacking to meet the requirement of God’s holiness. Jesus Himself makes up that difference. He stands before the Father to sanctify all our offerings so that they may reach the level of holiness required by Gods.
The Golden Chains
There were settings of gold in the priests’ garments. The golden chains were meant to connect the different parts of the garments. This speaks of the harmony of all the manifestations of the thoughts and actions of the Lord Jesus, all inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit, all seeking fully to please the Father and to accomplish perfectly the work of our salvation.
The Shoulder Pieces of the Ephod
There were gold rings to connect the shoulder pieces of the ephod by means of a blue cord.
“They shall bind the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the ephod, using a blue cord, so that it is above the intricately woven band of the ephod, and so that the breastplate does not come loose from the ephod.”
Exodus 28:28
In the fulfillment of His work, we see the manifestation of the love of the Lord Jesus and His divine power establishing us in fellowship with Him.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35.
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels
nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:38-39.
This day was celebrated once a year. On that day, the High Priest wore different garments. He did not enter the Most Holy Place, the earthly throne of God, wearing garments of glory—blue, purple, scarlet, and gold. He entered wearing only white linen garments. And what about the ornament and the glory? This speaks of that day when the Lord Jesus presented Himself as a lamb silent before its shearers. In Him there was no beauty or comeliness. He presented Himself as the victim, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
The Day of Atonement was prophetically fulfilled on the day Jesus was crucified. The crucifixion was the atonement.
“He shall put the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban he shall be attired. These are holy garments. Therefore he shall wash his body in water, and put them on.” Leviticus 16:4.
On that day, the High Priest wore garments entirely of fine linen, which speaks of the holiness of God and the righteousness of the saints. On the Day of Atonement, he did not wear the beautiful garments of glory; no gold or ornaments were seen, only fine linen, showing absolute purity.
In His earthly life, no outward beauty was seen in Jesus. Especially on the Day of Atone-
ment, when He was led to the cross and crucified, the sight was dreadful. Yet it was necessary for Him to die, humiliated on the cross, so that afterward He might recover the glory He had with the Father before the foundation of the world.
Why, then, did the High Priest enter once a year into the Most Holy Place wearing these linen garments? Because when Jesus died on the cross, He was stripped of all the glory and ornament He had left in eternity. But today He is at the right hand of the Father, clothed again in all His garments of glory, interceding for us.
Jesus offered Himself as a single sacrifice, never to be repeated, because it was sufficient to guarantee the atonement of our sins and our sanctification forever.
The yearly repetition revealed the imperfection of the Levitical system, a shadow of things to come. But in the case of our High Priest, we know that Christ entered once into the true Most Holy Place. His work is perfect, complete, and eternally sufficient.
“For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord”. Leviticus 16:30.
Here we learn that atonement is exclusively the work of God. Man adds nothing to the work of salvation. There is nothing we can do for our salvation. We rest completely in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything we do – our life of obedience, sanctification, prayer, and service – is not to be saved, but because we have already been saved. All that we
do is out of gratitude, acknowledging that He accomplished everything necessary for our salvation. The story did not end at the cross. He gave Himself for us, but on the third day He overcame death and rose again. The glory that rightfully belonged to Him from eternity was restored. Thus, He once again wears garments of glory and beauty. John saw Him clothed in priestly garments in the book of Revelation. Because His glory had been restored, He was not recognized by Mary at the tomb. Jesus had already been glorified.
“Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” Romans 8:33-34
In His infinite love for us, He desires that we also behold His glory. In the prayer He made on the eve of His crucifixion, the Lord Jesus asked the Father:
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me...” John 17:24.
And more than that, He desires that we share in (enjoy) that glory:
“And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.” John 17:22.
And He lives to intercede for us!
“But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable
priesthood. 25Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens.” Hebrews 7:24-26.
May the Lord bless us.
