kingdoms of this world will belong only to the Lord Jesus.

“...The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign Forever and ever!”

Revelation 11:15.

Message from Pastor Gilson Sousa:

I greet you, brethren, with the peace of the Lord. We are continuing our study of Jesus in the Book of Revelation. The purpose of this study is to learn more about Jesus through His titles and designations. In doing so, we learn from the One who is worthy of all our worship and praise.

We have seen the glory of the Lord and the power that Jesus received after coming as a man, dying on the cross, rising again, and ascending to heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.

John hears the songs sung in eternity. John sees the Lamb of God who was slain since the creation of the world.

“All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Revelation 13:8.

We have many reasons to

praise the Lord because our names are written in the Lamb's book of life. John contemplates the Lamb who was slain since the creation of the world, revealing that the Father's election (choice) precedes all things; therefore, our worship and praise belong solely to the Lord Jesus.

Then John sees the Lamb on Mount Zion and hears the

voice of the harpists playing harps and singing a new song. Everyone was singing before the throne of the Father.

“And I heard a voice in heaven, like the voice of many Waters, and like the voice of loud Thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.” Revelation 14:2.

The voice of the harpist leads us to understand a voice similar to the tone of harps, something glorious, sung in the presence of the Father. New songs are sung in heaven. The praise of the faithful church comes from heaven.

Even though it is a book proclaiming judgments, Revelation shows us that in heaven there are new songs. And let's look at the expression that John heard and described in such glorious terms.

“They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and fourty-four Thousand who were redeemed from the earth.” Revelation 14:3.

In the face of that proclamation and praise, John saw another angel proclaiming the everlasting Gospel.

“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who swell on the earth – to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people – saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgement has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” Revelation 14:6-7.

And after these things, John

“Then He spoke many things to them in parables saying: Behold, a sower went out to sow.” Matthew 13:3.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus is the one who presents himself as the sower, the one who will bring to fruition the entire result of the sowing. Those who received the seed and remained faithful will be gathered as precious wheat into the Father's barn.

emerge victorious, singing the song of the Lamb. Thus, immediately after victory, there will be singing in heaven. Those who have overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony will sing a song.

had a full, absolute sound. This is the praise that awaits the church in heaven.

sees the Lord Jesus with a sharp sickle. He sees Jesus as the sower. Jesus is the sower, but He is also the reaper. Because Jesus is the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega.

“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.” Revelation 14:14.

Jesus was the sower who began sowing when He told the parable.

“Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn”.” Matthew 13:30.

The prophetic aspect of this expression shows that the same Lord who sowed the seed is the one who will reap the harvest. This shows the continuity of God's plan. The same one who began the great work of salvation, as its author, will also bring it to completion, as the perfecter of faith. In sowing, he sows the seed to save; During the judgment, he reaps to give to each according to his works. Believers in Jesus will not undergo this judgment, because they were saved by grace and not by works.

Message from Pastor Marcelo Ferreira:

We greet you all with the peace of the Lord Jesus. At the beginning of chapter 15 of Revelation, John sees those who emerged victorious from a great battle against the powers of this world, against the powers of darkness. John's description recounts that they

The Lamb will receive the praise and adoration of the Church. We have learned that after every battle comes victory, and then glorification. This is the cycle of church history. Now John describes the song he heard in heaven: the song of those who have overcome and kept the word in their hearts.

I saw them with harps of God in their hands, and they sang the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb.

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the Victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!” Revelation 15:2-3.

John leaves two references for this song. First, he says: it is the song of Moses, the servant of God. This is the song of the servant of God. And then he adds: it is also the song of the Lamb.

The Lamb is worthy of all praise and majesty forever and ever. John draws attention to the harps he saw. They were not harps made by human hands. They were musical instruments forged in heaven. Those harps

There is a sequence of events that teach us something. Observe: first, the great battles against the powers of this world. And we, as the church, will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word. Then comes the song. And after the song, John says, “I saw the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened.” He sees the tabernacle opening. The praise sung in the Spirit opens heaven for us.

“After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened.” Revelation 15:5.

And after the temple opened, John looks and sees inside the tabernacle. And the cloud of the Lord's glory filled the entire temple.

“The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power [...].” Revelation 15:8.

That is what praise brings to the church. That is what happens in the life of the church when the Lamb is the center of worship. Praise leads us to a wonderful experience. The temple opens, and after the cloud of God's glory fills the entire temple, we feel the presence of the Lamb. Because the glory of the Lord fills the entire space.

This was the case at the consecration of Solomon's temple, when the priests were unable to minister because the glory of God filled the temple.

The Lord Jesus revealed in the book of Revelation - Part VI

When the glory of the Lord fills the church, there is no human prominence because the glory is all His. When the glory of the Lord is present, no one knows who preached, but everyone is certain that they have been visited by the Lord.

And we close this Sunday Bible School praising the Lord Jesus. At the end of this song, recounted in chapter 15 of Revelation, there is a wonderful song of praise.

“... Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!” Revelation 15:3.

This is the title that belongs only to the Lord Jesus: “Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints.” Jesus is the King of those who sanctify their lives.

May the Lord bless us
