St George's International School aims to combine 100 years of heritage with a powerful outlook on educational excellence, to provide an outstanding curriculum in academics, sports and expressive and performing arts that challenge and stimulate all students
We shall be set apart by our commitment to and culture of high performance, which empowers everyone to achieve their goals within an environment where they feel confident to take ownership of their decisions and actions.
Our international school community is founded upon a strong belief in equality. We strive to be fully inclusive, to embrace our diversity and the opportunities and responsibilities of being global citizens.
We work to ensure that our mission to inspire pupils to lift their eyes continues to resonate today as strongly as it did on our foundation in 1927
Learning is at the heart of our school community From Early Years to Senior School, we follow the same learning principles that guide everything we do: curiosity, collaboration, resilience, thoughtfulness, balance and reflection
As an international school, these learning principles are defined within two essential dimensions: intercultural learning and global citizenship
We encourage all learners to bring their whole self, identity and background to each learning experience We consciously nurture the contribution of every learner to the richness and diversity of our community. We are attentive and respectful as we learn from the experiences of others

RESILIENT
We are part of a global network knowing that our actions affect others throughout the world
We have a responsibility towards each other, life and the planet. We live in the moment, proud of our traditions and aware that our choices today define the future

St. George’s International School has a University Guidance Counsellor who is available to all pupils and their parents. She is responsible for explaining the university application process and supporting the pupils.
The University Guidance Counsellor arranges an annual University Fair which takes place at St George’s International School in the autumn term with over 90 universities and colleges from around the world attending each year
There are many different ways in which information is shared within the St. George’s International School community.
St. George’s International School has long prided itself on the quality of the teaching and pastoral care provided to its pupils. However, if parents do have a complaint, they can expect it to be treated by the school in accordance with this Procedure
In Junior School, from Year 1, pupils are awarded Class Dojos and Dragons. These reward systems celebrate and recognise a pupil’s success in a wide variety of areas, in relation to the school Learning Principles.
In an effort to meet the demands of working parents, we have a childcare facility named ‘Early Birds’ and ‘Late Owls’ Club
Pupils may enrol in the IA programme This is part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme. It is designed to give pupils formal recognition of the learning and challenges that they undertake outside the classroom.
There are four sections: developing a skill, service to others, physical recreation and expedition and is divided into 3 levels:
• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
