AOITORI is the community magazine for Japanese people in Belgium.
The June edition features the literary translator Mr. Luk Van Haute. The prominent Japanese novelists he has translated are both classical and modern stars such as Haruki Murakami, Soseki Natsume, Yoko Tawada, Keigo Higashino, Osamu Dazai.
Mr. Luk Van Haute is also an author himself. In June 2025, the second book "Trein naar Kamakura" is published together with his latest translation "Het krabbenschip" from Uitgeverij Cossee.
