TURN SUDS INTO SAVINGS

Lower your energy use in the laundry room by washing clothes with cold water whenever possible, as heating water accounts for most of the energy used in a laundry cycle. Wash full loads to make the most of energy savings, and use high-efficiency detergent designed for cold washes.

Marry Me Chicken Pasta

Ingredients: 8 oz. uncooked pasta 1 tbsp. olive oil ½ cup onion, finely chopped 3-4 cloves garlic minced 1 tbsp. butter 1 lb. chicken breasts, bite-size pieces

1 cup heavy cream ½ cup parmesan cheese grated ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped ½ tsp. EACH Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, pepper

Directions: Cook pasta until al dente, and reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining. Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil in a large pan over medium-high. Add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes or until softened. Add the garlic and butter and sauté for 30 seconds, then add the chicken and seasoning. Sauté for 3-5 minutes or until chicken pieces are browned and cooked through. Stir in the heavy cream, reserved pasta water, parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes. Combine pasta with mixture. If needed, pour in a splash of the hot pasta water to the sauce to thin it out a bit.
