Lineworker Appreciation Day is April 18!
I
n April, we celebrate and recognize the hard work and dedication of our lineworkers. April 18, 2024 marks Lineworker Appreciation Day, and we are grateful for the incredible individuals who make up our Inland Power team! We are fortunate to employ the best in the trade. Our line crew is dedicated to keeping the lights on and homes warm for our members. During the last year, we heard from many of you stating your appreciation for our Inland line crews and their tireless efforts to restore power during extreme weather events. These
challenging conditions never detour our crews from hitting the road, locating the issue and executing the restoration process in the quickest and safest way possible. In January, our lineworkers faced extremely difficult conditions, as a week-long deep freeze took a toll on the grid and required crews to restore power as they encountered bitter cold temperatures. This is just one example of the commitment our team exhibits.
