Palm Beach Zoo joyfully announced the birth of three African crested porcupines in February. The little porcupettes are awaiting their forever names! Cleo (mom) and Priscilla (dad), the Zoo’s porcupine pair, welcomed two adorable boys and one spunky girl. As these giant porcupines are important to ecosystems in Africa, they are also important to Palm Beach Zoo. Our guests are thrilled to see them, especially when they are walking around the Zoo with their zoologists. They thrive in human care and seem to enjoy socializing with their humans (zoologists). You may remember that Priscilla even attended our Gala in 2019. Winning bidder will receive naming rights and a custom collector's piece of artwork of the porcupettes by artist Holly Rollins. Includes VIP porcupette experience at the Zoo for up to six people.
