Our Continuous Improvement Plan is built on three pillars: Family Engagement, Academic Improvement, and Professional Development. We will build upon our successes from this past year and continue to engage in activities to support each of these areas this year. Examples include refining our support framework (academic, social, and emotional), the implementation of social-emotionallearning supports for students, the implementation of the AVID framework, and increasing meaningful family engagement opportunities.
The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.
Redmond schools strive to ensure that all students and their parents feel welcome. ¡ We provide bilingual support services for parents whose first language is not English. Interpreters are provided form conferences and meetings. ¡ Important communications sent home through mail, phone, or text are translated for easy access.
