One thing is certain, if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your pet! If it's comfortable for you, it still may be too hot for your pet, if your dog or cat is one of the brachycephalic (pushed in face) breeds. Their physical structure with partially blocked windpipes and undersized nostrils, makes breathing difficult even on the best of days. Take extra care of these pets especially on hot summer days. For all pets, just as with children, it only takes a little common sense and a little extra knowhow to keep summer fun as well as safe.

Spending 'just a moment' away at the corner store is just enough time for your pet to suffer deadly heat stroke. Don't risk it!
