You Are What You Eat It's as true for our pets as it is for us. Most people would agree that a steady diet of fast food would be extremely unhealthy. Yet that is exactly what loving, albeit misinformed pet custodians, are subjecting their pets to when they open a bag and dump out a meal of dry, kibbled food. Some people may argue that they are spending a fortune on the latest, greatest 'special formula' kibble for their puppy/senior/kitten/overweight/working pet etc. Some people argue that their brand of choice contains, 'REAL meat'....and then there are those people who adamantly argue their brand of kibble is superior, as it contains 'added vitamins and no preservatives' and costs $64.99 for a 5 kilo bag! It is no different from their wolf-ancestry making a raw diet the more biologically appropriate food. Cats are obligate carnivores, meaning, it's essential to their wellbeing to eat meat.
