Sony’s Next Playstation Rumored to Arrive in 2013 According to gaming site Kotaku, the successor to Sony’s PlayStation 3 is a code named Orbis and it has found a way to come in time for the holidays next year. The next-generation game, Orbis, won’t be play PS3 games. And, there is a rumor that with Microsoft’s follow-up to the Xbox 360, Sony is working on a way to make its next console either reject used games or possibly limit their playability unless buyers of a pre-owned game pay a fee to unlock/register the full game. Orbis is believed to use an AMD x86 processor with an AMD Southern Islands GPU. There is also a rumor that Xbox 360’s replace-

If the Rumors come true… If the rumors come true, a big winner in the console sweepstakes is Advanced Micro Devices. AMD’s Radeon graphics have already been confirmed for the Wii U and it’s been reported that the next Xbox will sport a chipset that features a Power PC central processor from IBM and a Radeon HD 7000-series GPU from AMD.

Terrafugia’s Transition flying car prototype took its first test flight recently, bringing the possibility of flying home from work and parking in the garage closer to reality. It is still unsure as to how many people will want to risk driving it along a regular road. The company has completed the first test flight of the production prototype of its flying car, staying in the air for eight minutes at an altitude of 1,400 feet. Wow!
A Price Tag of $279,000 for Terrafugia’s Flying Car Terrafugia’s flying car, which comes with a pricetag of $279,000, can reach speeds of around 70 mph on the ground and 115 mph in the air, and runs on unleaded automotive fuel. As a car, it can do 35 miles to the gallon, while off the ground it burns five gallons an hour. Terrafugia says it’s aiming for sales in fly-in communities like the 600 or so such locales in the U.S. where people either own small planes or Yacht in and out of town on them.

Donald Layton, One of the 3 Finalists for Freddie’s CEO E*Trade Financial Corp’s former chief executive, Donald Layton, has come out as the front-runner for the top job at Freddie Mac, which is a government-controlled mortgage-finance giant. According to those who know about the matter, Donald Layton met with Freddie’s federal regulator last month and is one of three finalists being considered for the job. The regulator met two weeks ago with a second candidate, Shekar Narasimhan, who runs a housing-finance advisory firm. A final decision or job offer has not been made yet.

Latest In Sands to Launch $4.4 Billion CasinoResort in Macau Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson, the U.S. billionaire, launched its long-delayed fourth resort, Cotai Central on Wednesday. It is a $4.4 billion complex that is its latest bet on continued strong growth in the world’s biggest gambling market. The executives of Sands China Ltd. inaugurated the Sands Cotai Central opening the doors to a traditional Chinese dragon dance, high-wire tightrope performance and the unveiling of a 5,500 pound bronze and gold ‘God of Fortune’ statue.
No More Casinos Expected in Macau There are no more new casinos are expected to open until at least 2015. This is because of the time needed for government approval and construction. Sheldon Adelson said that Sands has already planed its next project - a 3,600-room resort on a nearby plot for which it is currently seeking planning approval. Cotai Central is the 35th casino to open in Macau, the only place in China where casino gambling is legal. Macau’s gambling revenues rose 27 percent in the first three months of 2012, after rocketing 42 percent last year to $33.5 billion.

Eurozone Manufacturing slips while Asia is on a roll. The manufacturing sector of Eurozone showed a sharp shrink in almost three years in April, while the data from Asia seems to be very impressive for the quarter. The numbers from the US manufacturing sector also showed a surprising rise in factory growth which left Eurozone as the weakest link in the economic chain with the austerity programs and fiscal crisis taking a toll. Germany’s manufacturing sector showed a downfall for second consecutive month while France had the similar story to tell. Latest In Apple & E-Book Publishers Held Responsible for Price Fixing It is suspected that Steve Jobs was a key player from Apple in the conspiracy of a price-fixing plan with five e-book publishers. Steve Jobs helped organize and arrange for a complex price-fixing plan that cost its consumers tens of millions of dollars in the last two years by enhancing the price of many new releases and bestsellers by $3 to $5 each. “The customer pays a little more, but that’s what you want anyway,” Jobs told the publishers at one point, according to Sharis Pozen, the acting head of the Justice Department’s antitrust division.
Steve Jobs held responsible for price fixing conspiracy Apple even proudly described the maneuver, which gave the iPad maker a guaranteed 30% commission on each e-book sold through its online marketplace, as an aikido move. Sharis Pozen said Wednesday, “We allege that these executives knew full well what they were doing. That is, taking steps to make sure the prices consumers paid for e-books were higher”. But, all five publishers strongly denied the allegations and challenged that e-book and e-reader sales had surged since the industry went to the iPad pricing model.

8 Sins of Leadership to Avoid

“We spend a lot of time teaching our leaders what to do. We don’t spend enough time teaching them what to stop.” - Peter Drucker Industry Leaders Magazine

Leadership is not inherited; it cannot be learnt or unlearnt; leadership is a trait that is cultivated through a process of doing the right things and avoiding the wrong ones. It is a continuous endeavor to envision the right things, plan the right things and execute them to perfection. We have always talked of leadership as a process of doing the rights things in the right manner, but it is also about avoiding the wrong things. Here are the eight sins that every leader should try and avoid:
1.
Thinking that it can’t be done
Getting things done is probably the most important trait and activity of a leader. A leader never believes that something is impossible to achieve instead he always focuses on finding a way to do it. Be it a random idea that comes across his mind or a detailed plan from one of his subordinates or employees, a leader will never say that it can’t be done. He will strive to find a way around the obstacles that make it seem impossible and make it possible. Sometimes, the goal may not be reached, but that will never be for the lack of trying.
20
May 2012
2. Being content with the state of things A leader should never be content with the way things are. Leadership is about continuous striving for excellence and that cannot be achieved with a relaxed attitude about the state of things.
‘A leader believes in continuous positive change and a state of immobility will never be acceptable to him.’ The leaders do not meticulously plan to maintain the position of their enterprise, they continuously dream and plot for its continual growth and progress.
Industry Leaders Magazine
3.
Living in the past
‘A leader also makes sure that everyone working with and for him is a part of that vision and that all of them align themselves with that idea and move ahead in unison and in the same direction and towards the same goal.’ Leaders are visionary people who dream, think and plan for the future; they never
dwell in the past, actions in the past or their consequences. A leader will always have a vision for the future and he will make sure that it is communicated in the right way to the right people.
4.
Resisting change
Changeis inevitable and those who try to resist it either fail miserably or lag behind while the ones grabbing the new opportunities that come with change move ahead and prosper. A leader is responsible to bring about that change and transform that change to everyone’s advantage. A true leader will never try to fight change and instead try to make the most of it and that before anyone else.
5. Talking more than listening and observing Leaders are good listeners and observers. They don’t make comments and statements before carefully listening to what others have to say or observing what is happening around them. All the leaders believe in asking questions regarding how things are, how things are supposed to be

and how they should be done. They believe in meeting new people and learning new things all the time.
‘A great leader will be influential and highly connected.’ This makes them knowledgeable, aware and also allows them to get things done easily by using these connections.
issues unaided A leader is a leader by virtue of leading other people. When problems, obstacles or problems arise, a leader should not try to tackle them on his own as thereby he will not be leading anyone. A leader is responsible for a lot of things and one of the primary things is selecting people to work for him and in times of crisis a leader should be able to use the manpower to his advantage. Although he has to make all the big decisions, it is the people who need to advice and get the work done. He should be aware that working in a team can get more things done than on an individual level.
6. Dealing with problems or 22 May 2012 Industry Leaders Magazine
7. Expecting other to read your mind A leader is always expected to be a good communicator. Whatever the situation, a leader must always be able to put across what he wants other to know or understand.
‘Communication is not limited to verbal conversations or speeches; it can be emails, pamphlets or even small messages.’ He needs to communicate rightly the exact message that needs to be delivered to the
right people at the right time. If something needs to be said to someone, leaders make sure that it is said outright. If there are any problems with the functioning of the organization, he will get the message across to the employees in such a way that makes them motivated to work harder rather than scaring them. Communication is a very important aspect of leadership and that includes the good and the bad parts.
8.
Not ordering people around
Leaders do not order people around as people are not very open to do what they are told to do. Good leaders know how to get other to do things for them. It is not easy but it comes easily to them as they are open to others opinions, perceptions and feelings. They encourage and motivate others to work towards a cause. This is a systematic process that involves encouragement, approval and appreciation. They make people feel important by giving them responsibilities and holding them accountable for their actions.

The But this newest version of the airbus, which could carry 460 passengers, was not made for a commercial purpose. This particular model, the 747-V.I.P., was headed for a private customer in the Middle East believed to be the emir of Qatar.
‘Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Middle East sheikh, placed an order for an A380 airbus, way back in 2007.’ And now it’s time to deliver the airbus. But what is it that makes this airbus so special? Well, the A380 double-decker is the most expensive private jet ever created. The Saudi prince is the Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, a major investor in Citigroup. And almost five years after the order had been placed, the luxurious private jet is finally ready for delivery. The private jet has been hyped to be the world’s most expensive personal jet, with a final price well in excess of $500 million. Originally, the private jet was designed to include a garage for two Rolls-Royces, a stable for horses and camels, a pen for hawks. But, the most striking feature of this world’s largest passenger airliner is a prayer room that has been designed to automatically rotate, so as to keep the room always faced towards the holy city of Mecca. Now we know what makes it the most expensive private jet in the world, this private jet is truly one of a kind. They have named the product as sOccket. sOccket is soccer ball that harnesses and stores energy from play for later use as portable power source in resource-poor areas. Though both the Harvard graduates took up highly paid full time jobs after their graduation, they quit to follow their dream and wanted to create their college project Soccket into a means to help those without electricity. Jessica O. Mathews serves as a CEO of Uncharted Play while Julia Silverman plays the role of Chief Social Officer.
‘Their company has hired a team of engineers to improvise on the basic models of the products developed by Jessica and Julia.’ Now the Soccket balls can power LED lamps, mini fridges, water purifiers and cell phone chargers. Uncharted Play plans to distiribute the Soccket ball amongst the people who are deprived of electricity in the countries like Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nigeria and Haiti to start with. Jessica Matthews and Julia Silverman both had experience in developing countries before they began this project at Harvard. They knew that power shortage is a huge problem in many areas and that one out of every five people in Global population don’t have an access to electricity. Through this experience, both women realized that the world of play was truly uncharted territory when it came to tangibly addressing real issues facing the masses. Though the future was uncertain, they knew that an enterprise grounded in sustainable, realistic solutions for happiness had an undeniable value.

er shakeup. If the merger is approved by the unions and the federal government, it would in effect create the largest airlines in the United States. There still lie a few challenges ahead for those who want to see the merger go through. First of all, American Airlines recently filed for bankruptcy, a process that can take years. In order for the proposed airline merger to be approved, the bankruptcy court first has to rule that American Airlines has the right to merge while in bankruptcy. Next, unions for both of the airlines will have

to vote to approve the merger. Finally, the United States Transportation Department will have to conduct their own research and hand down the final approval for the merger.
Union Support for a US Airways-American Airlines Merger
American Airlines has three major unions which most employees belong to. On May 4th, 2012, the three unions jointly sent a letter to the board of directors of American Airlines expressing support for the
Industry Leaders Magazine
merger as a viable solution to bring American Airlines out of bankruptcy as well as to provide customers with the best flying experience. Currently, the leadership of American Airlines is fighting with the unions to impose their own work rules and payments, as well as to terminate any current contracts, in order to consolidate the company and keep them from going under. The Unions, who have 60,000 employees from just American Airlines, see the merger as a way for the ownership
to end the bankruptcy fight, and for the workers to get a fair contract.
Customer Benefits of a US Airways-American Airlines Merger Analysts are trying to determine the full effects that a merger will have on air travel. While many people in the industry say it’s the best course for both businesses as well as the employees, the benefit of travelers has yet to be determined. A frequent airline reporter, Seth Miller, made his opinions clear on the merger: “There’s not a single positive aspect of the merger for consumers” he stated. The reasoning is that with less airlines and less competition in the market, fares have no way to go but up. With a near monopolization of the industry that the country’s largest airline would create, the newly merged company will have the ability to impose any price they wish on customers, and with one of the largest airlines in the world no longer competition, customer satisfaction is going to have a dramatic decrease.
Historical Mergers
Effects

Airline
As with every merger, competition in the industry is going to suffer, and there will always be critics. Unlike most other industries, airliners have gone through major mergers in the past, and the results have been thought-provoking. It is true, that recent mergers, such as the United Airlines one in 2010, caused slightly higher prices for consumers. However, that rise in costs can in no way be attributed to the merger. With previous mergers over the last 15 years, no pattern has been set in fare prices, leading us to believe that a rise or decrease in costs after a merger is not a result of a decrease in competition. The problem lies with American Airlines more than the merger itself. American

Airlines has attempted to purchase or merge with many companies in the past, such as AirCal and others. AA has not had a good business platform throughout its existence, and it’s largely due to the fact that with the previous mergers, their only o b j e c t i ve was to get rid of the competition, not to increase the quality or availability of air travel. On the contrary, this isn’t American Airlines looking to merge with a smaller company; it is US Airways, the 5th largest airline in the country, trying to increase their own exposure, while saving employees and customers the hassle of the bankruptcy battle that American Airlines is currently going through.
Possible Outcomes of a US Airways-American Airlines Merger If American Airlines does in fact approve the merger, and any injunctions against it are lifted, the results will be mixed. First, the current financial troubles of American Airlines will no longer exist. If the merger does not go through and AA has to go through bankruptcy court in order to keep functioning, they will have no choice but to lay off thousands of employees. This tremendous toll on airline workers can be quashed if the merger goes through the way US Airways expects it to. On the other hand, both American Airlines and US Airways have the worst customer service

ratings by customers out of every major United States airline. Mergers always cause headaches in the support world, as one airline has a different culture and procedures than another. It’s been estimated that if this merger does in fact become reality, the new airline will probably have the worst customer service feedback for any airliner in the USA.
When can a Merger be Expected? There are currently three major hurdles that need to be overcome in order for the two airlines to successfully merge. First, Bank of America is going to have to approve a merger plan. At this point, US Airways is the only party who is publicly interested in the merger; so many details still need to be worked out. Second, the Justice Department needs to rule that Bank of America does not have the authority to drop current contracts with the Union, as well as drop any possible injunctions due to the merger. Finally, the Department of Transportation is going to have to do a short research study on the effects that the merger will have. Once this study is complete, they will give their recommendation as to whether it should proceed. Once these three steps are successfully completed, both boards of the company will sign the final merger agreement, when at that point, US Airways and American Airlines will be one company.

ndiGo, the private, low-cost airline based in India commenced its operations in August 2006. And ever since, Indigo has established itself as one of India’s leading airlines using its model of low-cost and efficient operations to attract customers with low fares. Industry Leaders Magazine

In January 2011 the airline gained approval from regulators to launch international flights, followed by the first service from New Delhi to Dubai on 1 September 2011. By early 2012, IndiGo had taken the delivery of its 50th aircraft in less than 6 years.
‘IndiGo is known to have placed the largest order in commercial aviation history during 2011, when Airbus won the US$ 15 billion deal for 180 aircraft.‘ This deal pushed up the percentage of Airbus aircraft in India to 73 percent. If you look at IndiGo’s hold in India’s domestic air travel market, it has the second largest share, only after Jet Airways and as of October 2011 it is the only airline in India making profit.
Now, in middle of the turmoil in the Indian airline sector, Indigo airline stood out as a fire of profitability in the surrounding gloom. IndiGo airlines posted profit up to $10 billion for FY12. The Low cost carrier IndiGo has once again posted a net profit for the fiscal year ending March 2012.
Kapil Kaul, the Chief Executive Officer for Centre for Asia Pacific and Aviation, an aviation information and consultancy firm said, “The 100 Airbus aircraft deal signed in 2005 was a game changer as they managed to get an exceptional price and gave them the strategic ability to leverage it significantly. It’s first CEO, Bruce Ashby, was in India 18 months before the launch, and an experienced team at the management/board level has been key reason of IndiGo’s success”.
Aditya Ghosh, president of InterGlobe Aviation said, “We have recorded profits in 2011-12 too though it’s likely to be in the region of $10 billion”. IndiGo’s profits are but a small sliver of its profits for the year ended March 2011 figure of $60 billion, up around 18 per cent over the previous year.

would have known about it. But in any case, the documents will become public once we file our audited results with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation”. Given IndiGo’s heavy usage of lucrative sale leaseback brand actions, is the sharp decline in net profit indicative that they suffered an operating loss in 2011~2012? And if IndiGo suffered this much, then what would have been the effect on marginally profitable and much smaller GoAir? Post your thoughts via a comment. High prices of crude oil which have led to soaring prices of aviation turbine fuel and depreciation of the rupee have already led to Kingfisher Red closing down. Airlines such as Jet Airways had delayed their payments of service tax to the revenue authorities. BSElisted Jet posted a loss after tax of $10.2 billion in the quarter ending December 2011. Vijay Mallya-controlled Kingfisher Airlines, which is struggling to pay salaries, too recorded a loss after taxation of Rs

Rajiv Duggal, managing director at Kuoni travel group India said, “IndiGo is really living up to its on time performance record and its entire system is geared to plane and deplane effectively. Pilots too seem to be incentivised to ensure they do not burn fuel unnecessarily. Thanks to the slick operations they don’t lose their position in the queue for landing or takeoffs due to delays. This makes for a brilliantly efficient service”. Travel industry veterans say the airline’s model has allowed it to stay in the black. overheads too. Their planes are designed to strip out all extras such as a rack for passengers suits and make way for maximum seats. The inputs of its minority shareholder — former US airways head honcho Rakesh Gangwal in designing the product have also helped the airline be very frugal in its operation. By purchasing a large number of aircraft in a single shot, the company also manages to get discounts on the purchase price which helps it when it enters into sale and leaseback agreements, as it can realize the difference between its cost price and the market price upfront and reduce its debt load too.
‘The company also flies an all new fleet of aircraft which keeps its costs low and planes in the air longer, said industry experts.’ Industry experts believe the airline also manages to earn additional revenues from sale of food and beverages on board its flights and several companies now book their executives on its flights and book meals for them online. This tends to save the companies the cost of a full service airline ticket and also boosts efficiency of their personnel since they arrive on time for meetings etc.

rightsource Energy has abandoned its IPO. Citing adverse market conditions stemming from a lack of public interest/funding in greentech solar companies, the company withdrew its plans to become listed and offer shares on the NASDAQ last month. Industry Leaders Magazine
May 2012

Brightsource Energy, based in Oakland, California, is considered the United States leader in the development and application of solar energy for large-scale power plants. The company CEO John Wollard advised the media that going through with the IPO would have left the company and its investors in an unfavorable position. Raising $250 million of capital in the United States proved to be too much of a challenge for Brightsource Energy but the challenge, in terms of the market, stems from competition in China and it effects on the United States’ green energy policy.
‘Brightsource Energy is the leader in U.S. green energy initiatives.’ Founded in 2004 the company develops and operates solar and thermal energy power plants utilizing proprietary technology. Unlike other solar energy companies, Brigtsource Energy utilizes thermal power, obtained by concentrating the rays of the sun onto a mirror array,

that reflects heat to boil water and generate steam to power electrical turbines. Brightsource’s cornerstone solar energy plant, the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System, is located on federal land in the Mojave Desert of California. Upon completion in 2013, the plant will generate approximately 392 megawatts of power for utility companies Pacific Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison, providing electricity for 140000 homes. Surpluses of low-cost Chinese manufactured photovoltaic solar panels and federal cuts to the U.S. Department of Energy renewable energy grants have dimmed Brightsource’s prospects considerably.
Chinese Domination in Solar Energy Market China has been the predominate market force in solar energy and is the leading manufacturer of photovoltaic solar panels worldwide. Chinese Government subsidies of 30 billion dollars help to offset the cost of manufacturing solar panels and this has led to an excess of supply in the Chinese market. Exporting the solar panels became a necessity and the greentech conscious United States market continues to demand Chinese supply. More Americans

have been adopting green energy lifestyles and the important factor has been that associated costs have fallen dramatically over the years. The limited number of United States manufactureerss has created domestic pricing conditions where the cost of installing Chinese solar panels accounts for a roughly 10% savings for the U.S. consumer.
‘Companies associated with the installation and maintenance needs of solar power production have also been the beneficiaries of low Chinese prices.’ Consumer preference continues to favor the savings provided by Chinese manufactured solar panels over the increased cost of those produced domestically. Mirroring consumer preference the U.S. Government

John Wollard, CEO of Bright Source Energy has altered its renewable energy policy by cutting funding for federal grants, leaving Brightsource Energy in a compromised position for future growth.
What do Critics think?
United States manufacturers of solar energy panels have not been silent regarding Chinese domination of the U.S. green energy market. A formal complaint has been filed on behalf of United States based solar panel manufacturers with the Departments of Commerce and the International Trade Commission citing unfair Chinese trade practices. Allegations contend Chinese solar energy subsidies and exporting practices place United States manufacturers at a disadvantage and leaves them vulnerable to closing, threatening American jobs. The U.S. solar panel manufacturers are asking the government to place a tariff on the import of Chinese manufactured solar panels so that prices favor
Critics of U.S. solar panel manufacturers contend that a tariff on Chinese produced solar panels would stifle the booming green energy segment of the U.S. economy. Companies that install and maintain solar energy equipment for U.S. consumers say that the tariff could adversely effect growth and jobs within the industry. According to experts, the proposed tariff could increase the cost of adopting solar energy domestically around 20%. This could cause adverse effects throughout the greentech industry, negatively impact U.S. consumers, and halt a decade long trend toward broader domestic adoption of green energy. Technicians and manufacturers of related technologies are sound-

ing the alarm about the Tariffs potential effects. Brightsource Energy received a $1.6 Billion dollar loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy in April 2011 to maintain 86 permanent operations and maintenance jobs. Initial filing for an IPO with the SEC occurred during the same month and reflected positive market conditions for the solar power industry.
‘This trend of positive market favor and United States policy has ended and so has the IPO of Brightsource Energy.’
The venture capital and corporate backed green energy company invariably has a lot of interest in the fate of proposed Chinese solar panel tariffs and the stability of the business depends on U.S. government policy. Brightsource with its business being the building of large solar power plants utilizes large solar mirror arrays. The cost of these arrays is an important component to the ongoing sustainability and profitability of Brightsource Energy as a leader among greentech industries. It is clear that Brightsource Energy’s CEO and Board of Directors had no choice but to back out of the IPO. The decision was based on unfavorable market conditions and the current volatility within the green energy industry. Consumer preference for low-cost Chinese photovoltaic solar panels and changes in U.S. government policy was substantial enough to frighten away investors. Withdrawing the IPO was the only way for the CEO and Board of Directors to protect the companies investors and ensure the survival of Brightsource Energy.

People usually prefer serving alcohol in occasions, but liquor now has become a thing to offer in any occasions or even without occasions like: in the bars, birthdays, , clubs, fine dining restaurants, weddings, and many more. Most people don’t bother about the cost they will spend for an alcoholic beverage. If you are in a go to impress the most discerning dinner party guests, you need to go all out. And to really knock their socks off, make sure everything is top shelf.

a fascination for expensive liquor, sometime it’s because of the ingredients or taste and sometimes it’s just because of the cost of the bottle and the name of the producer. Here is a list of the world’s most expensive alcoholic beverages. They are a mixture of even whiskey, scotch, tequila, vodka and cognac. Some of them are very old and create the perfect taste of alcohol.
D’ Amalfi Limoncello – $43.6 Million Limoncello is Italy’s traditional drink and D’ Amalfi Limoncello comes from Antica Distilleria Russo with single cut diamonds to make it $43.6 Million. It was exclusively designed with three flawless single cut diamonds on the neck, weighing a total of 13 carats. One of the rarest diamonds in the world, flaunting 18.5 carats, is set on the body of the bottle.
Isabella’s Islay - $6 Million Isabella’s Islay has originated from the company behind the world’s most expensive non- alcoholic drink Ruwa, making it one of the world’s most luxurious Whisky that is available in two editions. Each bottle of the Whisky is handcrafted and is coated with beautiful and stunning 8500 diamonds and almost 300 rubies. The bottle is completely covered with very old single malt cask strength Islay whisky inside and English Crystal decanter. The Henri IV Dudognon Heritage is a bottle of some of the world’s finest and most expensive champagne. One would think that having 100-yearold champagne would be luxurious enough, but apparently the manufacturers were not satisfied.
Diva Vodka - $1 Million Diva Vodka is famous for its bottle. This bottle of vodka hails from Scotland and its price is the result of how much “bling” you want your bottle to have.
‘The Diva Vodka bottle is made of Swarovski Crystal and diamond.’ The bottle has been encrusted with precious gems: diamonds, rubies, sapphires, etc. Blackwood Distillers makes this triple distilled vodka that is ice-filtered through Nordic birch charcoal and then for some reason is passed through a sand of crushed diamonds and other gems. I wonder how the Vodka would taste, having passes through the sand of crushed diamonds and gems. Vodka prices are dependent on the quality and quantity of diamonds displayed on the bottle. The cheapest of Diva Vodka is worth $ 450,000 and the most expensive (the one we are talking about) has reached $ 1,000,000. Diva Vodka is yet another world’s most expensive alcohol.

here was a time when the West thought it had the answer to everything, particularly when it came to business; the capitalist system was the only way to encourage initiative and growth. Industry Leaders Magazine

While some will say that myth was destroyed with the financial crisis created by the reckless behavior of Western Banks leading up to 2007/8 and the collapse of the World Economy, others will point to the changes already taking place at the other side of the World, changes that suggested that economic power was moving East anyway.
Unrivalled Business Model An excellent example of a company which has come to the forefront of the vital sector, construction, transport infrastructure and manufacture is the China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) which although it was only incorporated just before the problems that led to the financial collapse in the West, has proved yet another example of why the Chinese are seen as the dominant economic force in the World and why the dollar is under so much threat as the leading world currency.
‘CCCC was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange late in 2006 and is the first state owned transportation infrastructure group moving into the capital market abroad.’ 96
May 2012
It is ranked twelfth in revenue terms among the State owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) in China and fourteenth in profit terms. Its previous record of construction meant that its Stock Exchange move was an obvious step given the increasing strength of China and its influence in the World.
How Fast did the China Company Grow? While many capital expenditure projects have been shelved with Western Europe
Industry Leaders Magazine
The impact it has made in the overall development of the People’s Republic of China can be seen by its citizens every day as they travel through the country; they would find travel much more difficult but for the infrastructure that CCCC has designed and built.
‘China’s communications system has developed quickly with new expressways, bridges, tunnels and ports.’ These are vital to keep pace with the need for the Country’s infrastructure to match its economic growth. CCCC has only been in the and North America because of economic problems, CCCC is steadily growing. Its main activities involve the design and construction of transport infrastructure whether road, sea or rail. Bridges, tunnels, dredging, road, rail and port, CCCC has proved able to turn its hand to anything. railway sector a relatively short time, since 2005, but in that time has been busy as the government seeks to link the major cities with a modern rail network. Its projects have gone across the border to other parts of Asia and beyond. One of the best indications of its overall strength is in the container crane business; it has almost 80% of the world market share covering 73 countries with its products. Its reputation has been built up in several continents over two decades, notably in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America where Chinese diplomacy has

with the best qualified staff that China can provide.
CCCC was first listed in the Engineering News’ Records twenty years ago and has remained in a prominent position ever since.
While China has not adopted the traditional capitalist system, its companies do recognise the value of their workers and initiative, success and innovation has its rewards. The Country has seen the need to expand into the world as a whole and there are few better examples than CCCC. While it was Japan and South East Asia that led the way half a century ago, it is CCCC and similar Chinese Companies which are currently leading the way. China has avoided the problems of countries such as Russia opening itself up to capitalism; instead it has adopted parts and seen the mistakes that Country has made and avoided falling into a similar trap.
‘It has been the number one Chinese enterprise in revenue terms since 2008.’ No company can retain such a prominent role in so many activities without a highly skilled and profession staff; its research and development departments contain a level of expertise which will ensure the company can maintain its prominent role both at home and abroad. Nothing is spared when it comes to technological expenditure with design institutes, research centres and laboratories staffed

May 2012
There is no better example of the success of China and CCCC than in noting the visit of the British Chancellor of the Exchequer to Hong Kong recently looking to drum up business for the City of London as a future trader in the Chinese currency; he visited Beijing in search of investment while within the West, the problems of the euro and the caution of the public and private sectors have created stagnation.
