For 2026, Indian Ocean® unveils a new chapter in craftsmanship with our first collection featuring man-made solid stone tops. Engineered for exceptional strength and longevity, each surface embodies a quiet sophistication that elevates every piece.

Presented within our Siena and Sierra collections, this innovation is offered in two serene finishes — Etna Lava Scuro and Salika Grigio — capturing the timeless beauty of natural stone through cutting-edge technology. The result is a surface of remarkable depth and texture, where nature’s essence meets contemporary precision.

Composed from 100% natural materials and completed with a sandblasted matte finish, every detail celebrates the purity and tactile elegance of stone — an expression of enduring luxury, designed to stand the test of time.

What inspires us

Outdoor living has become one of the defining luxuries of modern life. At the heart of this shift is a desire for spaces that feel effortless, calm and connected to the rhythm of the seasons. Since 1990, we have been designing furniture that supports this way of living with pieces that invite you outside and keep you there a little longer.

Our collections are shaped by an architectural eye and a maker’s discipline. Every line is considered and every proportion is deliberate. We work only with materials that deserve to live outdoors - the warmth of Teak, the precision of Stainless Steel, the tactility of Rope and for the first time in 2026, the strength of Stone. Each piece is finished to a standard that stands up to the elements while retaining a quiet, modern elegance.

There is a story behind everything we make and concepts evolve slowly, moving from sketch to prototype to final testing in a process that can take up to 2 years. The result is furniture with presence: grounded, refined and designed to age beautifully. Environmental responsibility has long been integral to our values. We hold an FSC ® Licence, operate a comprehensive green policy and partner with Forest Carbon to ensure our impact is measured and meaningful.

We remain agile and personal in our approach. Our Design and Planning service is built around you - visiting your space, understanding how you live and creating solutions that feel intuitive and uniquely yours.

The environment is our backdrop

At Indian Ocean ® we truly value our connection with the environment, and support sustainability causes on a local and global scale.

This connection can be seen through our pioneering of an environmentally sound future for our industry; in 1995 we helped to establish WWF 95+ Group, a groundbreaking partnership between businesses and one of the world’s leading environmental groups: the WWF. As founding members, we strived to ensure that our timber would always be sourced in well-managed forests. The creation of the Forest Stewardship Council ® helped us to supply FSC ® certified Teak products. We are proud to hold an FSC Licence number: N004344.

All our Teak is harvested by local experts on responsibly managed plantations and we have spearheaded sustainable manufacturing practices for decades.

We not only care deeply about our products, but about our people too; we understand our social responsibilities and expect our suppliers to share this value. We insist that all of our international partners exceed local labour standards, and we continue to support the local orphanage in our major supply area.

At Indian Ocean we operate a green policy in all procedures and we use energy as efficiently as possible in our stores, offices and warehouse. For your convenience we remove all packaging materials after delivering your furniture and recycle them on your behalf. Our technical materials, REHAU ® & BATYLINE ® , are 100% recyclable as well.

As members of Forest Carbon , we are able to offset our carbon footprint by creating woodland across the UK. Through the planting of over 13 million trees since 2006, we have helped to remove over 3,300,000 tonnes of CO2e from the atmosphere and helped in the growth of 220+ forests. These woodland areas also mitigate local flood risks, provide habitats for wildlife, and give the public access to nature.

The materials we use are meticulously selected to meet our high standards for quality and durability. At Indian Ocean ® , our aim will always be to create luxury furniture that lasts.

Our experts select the finest grade ‘A’ plantation Teak. The timber we use must have straight, consistent grains and no knots. We match colours and cut components before kilndrying to guarantee a perfect fit, ensuring our frames never warp. Our furniture joints use only teak dowels, and every element is sanded three times for a velvety-smooth finish.

We are proud of our manufacturing traditions, but still endeavour to match and exceed modern industry standards. Our 304 and 316 grade Stainless Steel fittings give you long lasting reliability, but we have also incorporated treated Aluminium into several of our collections for its strength and low weight.

We offer All-Weather Rope in a wide choice of colours, each treated in an extrusion process that guarantees complete colour

saturation throughout the synthetic fibres. Our BATYLINE ® slings, PVC-coated polyester woven into a remarkable webbed material, are perfect for seats and loungers.

Our All-Weather Weave Collection uses a highly technical woven material that is tear resistant, UV resistant, weather resistant and natural to the touch.

We put a great deal of work into our furniture so that minimal maintenance is required of you. However, regular aftercare will ensure your furniture stays looking good for many years to come, and following our Care and Maintenance Manual is the best possible way to preserve your furniture’s beauty.

The materials used in the manufacture of all Indian Ocean Collections are carefully selected to meet the highest quality standards. Your furniture has been specifically designed to weather the elements of life outdoors – all year round. However, regular cleaning and aftercare is required and does go a long way to ensure the furniture still looks good, even after many years of use. We offer a comprehensive collection of Indian Ocean Premium Care Products and you will receive a complete Care & Maintenance Guide with your order. PREMIUM TEAK CLEANER & RESTORER

Our Teak cleaner and restorer is a cleaner and brightener in one. Suitable for regular maintenance jobs to remove deeply ingrained dirt and stains from food and drink. The water-based formula is not only a high concentration cleaner, but it also contains brightener-ingredients, which brings the Teak back to its original colour by removing the grey film and to restore the top surface. We recommend the use of our Green Scrubbing Pads whilst cleaning. DO NOT PRESSURE WASH.

PREMIUM TEAK COLOUR PROTECTOR

This easy to apply Teak protector maintains the natural Teak colour for up to 4 times longer than Teak oil and up to twice as long as Teak sealer. After applying the Teak Colour Protector, we recommend treating the surface with our Premium Teak Transparent Sealer.

PREMIUM TEAK TRANSPARENT SEALER

Should you wish to maintain the patina grey colour of your Teak we recommend using our Premium Teak Transparent Sealer. The Sealer makes Teak water and dirt repellent – it is an almost invisible wood impregnator that makes it difficult for wine, olive oil, butter, coffee to seep into Teak.

MULTI OUTDOOR FURNITURE CLEANER

For easy cleaning of all other outdoor furniture materials such as All-weather Weave and Rope, Batyline, Outdoor Fabric (cushions and parasols), Glass, Stainless Steel and HPL. Removes dirt and grease, oil, pollutants, and stains from surfaces. We recommend the use of our Soft White Pads whilst cleaning.

TEAK

Teak only needs a little regular cleaning – that’s really all there is to it – but please read on so that you know what to expect….

We select only the finest premium Grade A Plantation Teak. The golden colour and grain of the natural hardwood varies. After about 3 months of outdoor exposure to moisture and sunlight the new wood begins to mature naturally and take on a beautiful and distinctive silver-grey patina.

Teak is naturally hard-wearing and long lasting; as Teak has the highest natural oil content of all hard woods we do not advise the application of Teak Oil. Oil will not prolong the life of your Indian Ocean furniture but may cause black spots, blemishes and uneven staining.

Do not be alarmed if small cracks appear in the end-grain of timbers as they are perfectly natural, and you need not worry - as the moisture in the atmosphere rises the timber will return to normal. You may also see white patterns appear on the teak - these are simply calcium deposits and are an intrinsic element of Teak - they do not affect the durability, performance or life expectancy of the item.

STAINLESS STEEL

Brushed, Electro-Polished and Powder-Coated

All the Stainless Steel we use in the construction of our furniture is 304 or 316 grade – the recommended grade for outdoor use. Stainless Steel is an iron alloy in which the resistance to corrosion is increased through the addition of chrome and nickel. Surface oxidisation deposits are accelerated by chlorine and airborne chemicals but do not affect the durability of your furniture. Chlorine and salty sea air are Stainless Steel’s biggest enemy and can cause a type of corrosion that is known as pitting and more regular cleaning is needed. For locations near the sea, we recommend that the Stainless Steel be in a Powdercoated painted finish.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

ALL-WEATHER ROPE

All-Weather Rope combines texture with technology. The Rope is an innovative blend of two synthetic components resulting in a unique fibre with substantial practical strength. Indian Ocean Rope is water-repellent, chlorine, salt and UV resistant and ultimately recyclable. The Rope is an excellent choice for marine or poolside locations and is inherently resistant to dirt and stains.

ALL-WEATHER WEAVE

Our extensive All-Weather Weave designs are constructed from premium quality highly-technical man-made materials which allow them to remain outdoors all year round. The material is soft to the touch, tear resistant, quick drying, UV, salt and chlorine resistant making it an excellent choice for marine or pool locations.

ALUMINIUM

High grade Aluminium is preferred by our designers for its strength, its low weight and its resistance to corrosion. Many of our Aluminium ranges have a polyester powder paint finish applied statically and embedded by a baking action. The advantages of this procedure are the endless possibilities in the variety of colour and the protection to the metal.

BATYLINE ®

For the seats and backs of our chairs and loungers we use Ferrari Batyline ® or Sunbrella Sling fabric. The polyester fibre is PVC coated and then woven. The fibres are then melted together in order to create an exceptionally strong, stretch and tear resistant fabric. Apart from its exceptional mechanical strength it has a high chemical resistance. The synthetic coating guarantees an extremely high weather and UV resistance. The fact that there is no moisture absorption results in rapid drying with maximum stain and mould resistance.

FURNITURE COVERS

We recommend our range of Dove Grey tailored covers to help keep your furniture protected when not in use. Covers will keep your furniture free from debris and consequently minimise cleaning. Before covering, please ensure the furniture is clean and dry.

CUSHIONS

Indian Ocean cushions are made from performance fabrics specifically designed for outdoors whilst ensuring a natural feel. They have an inherent soil and water repellence and are resistant to mildew. The fabrics are UV proof, resistant to fading from chlorinated pool water and designed to dry out quickly after rain.

Care: To keep your cushions looking good we recommend storing them away overnight. Cushion covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees, to prevent creasing replace the covers while still damp and then dry in the open air. It is essential that cushions are completely dry before storing in a well-ventilated area over the winter season. Please see our collection of Storage Boxes.

GLASS

All Indian Ocean glass for tables is tempered, meaning it is toughened and would shatter if broken rather than break into shards. Glass is naturally resistant to staining making them highly suitable materials for use outdoors.

HPL (High Pressure Laminate)

This smooth solid top is hard-wearing and easy to clean.

PARASOLS

The Parasol fabric is made from marine strength acrylic that is UV & mildew resistant. In addition, the fabric is Teflon treated to provide water and light soiling protection.

Opening Your Parasol: When opening the Parasol, pull out the ribs to ensure that they move freely, then gently pull on the cord/wind the handle to slowly raise the sliding hub upwards. Continue to raise until the fabric is taut and then insert the pin into the highest possible hole. A tautly erected Parasol will be stronger and will not allow the canvas to billow in the wind, which may cause the strut ends to break. Close the Parasol during strong or gusty wind conditions and cover only when completely dry. Please ensure your Parasol is secure and fitted in the correct base – please ask for our advice.

NEVER LEAVE YOUR PARASOL OPEN OR UNATTENDED IN WINDY CONDITIONS.

STONE

Indian Ocean Stone is a technologically advanced, man-made material engineered to offer the beauty of natural stone with superior performance for outdoor living. Produced through an innovative process that applies extreme heat and pressure, the stone gains remarkable strength and a refined, stone-like appearance. The method fuses powdered minerals into a solid, high-density surface using heat and compression without melting and without any artificial binders. The result is a material manufactured to international standards, composed of 100% natural minerals.

The Stone is designed to be exceptionally easy to maintain. Its non-porous, waterproof surface means everyday spills and marks can be removed quickly with minimal effort. Simply wipe the surface with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. To preserve the pristine finish, avoid using abrasive pads, steel wool or scouring powder and avoid leaving highly acidic or alkaline substances in prolonged contact with the surface.

UPHOLSTERED Outdoor Sofas

The Latitude Sofa is upholstered with high-performance outdoor fabrics and have the feel of a luxury indoor sofa. The innovative material is woven from marine strength solution-dyed synthetic fibres, specially designed for use outdoors. Natural to the touch, UV fade resistant and treated to be water, soil and stain repellent.

HPL is created by pressing together resins under high pressure and heat, this creates a material which impact resistant and durable. As this is a completely synthetic product it is also completely water resistant, making it ideal for use in Outdoor furniture.

POWDER-COATED STAINLESS STEEL STONE

Powder-coating is a process where a powder is sprayed over a Stainless steel or Aluminium frame and then baked, this bonds the pigment to the steel. The pigment can be created for match any colour.

Our colours have been chosen specifically to work with Teak, our All-weather Rope and Batyline options.

INFORMATION

Delivery

When your order has been processed, the details of your order will be passed to our warehouse. We aim to deliver items we have in stock within 15 working days. If items are not in stock we will advise you of the estimated lead time.

The warehouse team will contact you personally schedule your delivery. We have our own team of Indian Ocean Delivery Drivers and offer a specialised delivery and assembly service of our furniture. We will place your furniture as directed and remove all packaging for recycling.

During busy periods we may occasionally use a third party carrier to make sure your delivery is fulfilled in a timely manner.

Couriers

We use a courier service for the efficient dispatch of parasols/parasol bases ordered separately, cushions ordered separately and other occasional pieces. Lighting orders may also be dispatched by courier. We dispatch courier items using a 48 hour service and we try to accommodate specific delivery dates.

Access

Please ensure that we have suitable access to the area in which you would like your new furniture positioned. Some furniture can be assembled on site once access has been made. However, if you have chosen large fixed pieces (e.g Sofa Modules etc.) please measure to ensure that the pieces will fit through your entrance and garden entrance. Please request a ‘Will it fit guide” to help you measure. If we are unable to complete your delivery due to limitations of access then a £100 charge will be levied.

Mainland - excludes Highlands & Islands & Crane Hire – please call for quote. A delivery surcharge of £80 for any parasol base ordered separately will be applied.

Small parcel delivery charge of £8.00 for orders under £100.

Export

We are experienced in exporting furniture worldwide and are pleased to handle shipping arrangements for you. Please call us with your full overseas delivery address and we will calculate competitive shipping costs for you. We can remove VAT at the time of purchase when Indian Ocean handles the shipping or we can process VAT Refunds where applicable, on completion of export documentation. Please note that it is your responsibility to INSURE your goods from the UK onwards. Exported goods cannot be returned. Please see our complete Terms of Sale. Goods for overseas destinations may be shipped flat packed to minimise risk of damage.

Customer Service

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase from Indian Ocean. Do please inspect your furniture or items at the time of delivery, in the unlikely event of a problem, please advise our delivery team at the time who may be able to rectify it. If an item needs to be replaced, please allow for delivery lead times. You must notify us as soon as possible and within 48 hours from delivery to discuss returns either by email at customerservices@indian-ocean.co. uk or by phone on 020 8675 4808. If agreed, we will arrange to collect your order. All items, including furniture, must be carefully stored and in new condition when we collect. Guarantee

We have designed and selected furniture which we believe will stand the test of time and we are confident that you will enjoy your furniture for many years to come. However, we do back our furniture with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers normal usage and is subject to terms and conditions. Warranty periods vary for Lighting and Heaters; please contact us for further information.
