he MOSAIC Multicultural Festival 2022 was organized on 18 September at Roma Street Parklands. The MOSAIC Multicultural Festival celebrates the rich cultural contributions all of the multicultural communities that contribute to the multicultural
ethos of Queensland through dance, music, spoken word poetry and storytelling, visual arts and crafts, children’s and family activities and delectable foods and cooking demonstrations. Speaking about the festival, Dr Ram Mohan, who is the chairman of India News Group said,

African Communities Council of South Australia organizes Unmasked Africa Festival 2022

he African Communities Council of South Australia(ACCSA) organized the 2022 Unmasked Africa Festival on 24 September at Victoria Square, Adelaide. The 2022 Unmasked Africa Festival is a flagship event of the African Communities Council of South Australia. The Festival provided an opportunity to share with Australia the diverse and vibrant African cultures through arts, traditional and contemporary performances,
drumming classes, authentic African food and information about African South Australians. It was also an opportunity for the public in general in Australia to make friends with Africa and enjoy the vibrancy, colour and tastes of Africa and its unique contribution to the multicultural Adelaide. The day became unforgettable as it offered an experience of exciting performances, crafts and tasty authentic food.

Crucial bridge linking Crimea to Russia hit by huge explosion
Kiev, Oct 8 (IANS) The Kerch bridge from Russia to Crimea, a hated symbol of the Kremlins occupation of the southern Ukrainian peninsula, was hit by a massive explosion on Saturday on the span that carries railway traffic.

Images from the bridge showed a fiercely burning fire engulfing at least two railway carriages from a train on the bridge, accompanied by a vast column of black smoke, The Guardian reported. The explosion, which witnesses said could be heard kilometres
away, took place at around 6 a.m. on Saturday morning while a train was crossing the bridge, although it was not immediately clear what caused it. Some images appeared to show a second fire at some distance from the main blaze. Later images also appeared to show part of road bridge that runs parallel with the train tracks had collapsed, The Guardian reported. The bridge is both highly symbolic to Russia and an important logistical supply route for Russian forces in Crimea and in southern Russian-occupied Ukraine. Medical body honours three Indian-origin doctors in Australia Sydney, Oct 7 (IANS) Three Indian-origin doctors were recently felicitated by the South Australian Indian Medical Association (SAIMA) in recognition of their contributions to the field of medicine. Associate professor Anupam Datta Gupta received SAIMA’s President’s award in recognition of his research in rehabilitation medicine. He is currently the head of the general rehabilitation unit at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. Datta Gupta is a recipient of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) scholarship and also the Clinical Research Scholar certificate from the Harvard Medical School.
Jaya Pathi received her award for her work as the longest-serving female practitioner - a total of 53 years, including 47 years in Australia. Pathi obtained her MBBS from the Osmania University in Hyderabad in 1967 and started working at a public hospital while pursuing
