Our Journey of Inclusion How can the world be more inclusive?
Morgan's Inclusion Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, was created to take on expanded entities, and become the coordinating function for what’s now known as Wonderland, Texas. These entities include Morgan’s Wonderland, Morgan’s Inspiration Island, Morgan's Wonderland Sports, Morgan's Wonderland Camp,
It all started in 2006
and The Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan's Wonderland.
It was a mother and father's love for their daughter and the question of "what if we could create social entities of inclusion" that started it all. The passion and example set by the visionary and founder of Morgan's Inclusion Initiative, Gordon Hartman - Morgan's Dad, sparked change within government and business entities. Morgan's Inclusion Initiative continues to challenge others to create more inclusive spaces, and many are meeting that challenge.

More Than a Theme Park
Morgan’s Wonderland is the first-of-its-kind theme park with Ultra-Accessible™ rides including a carousel, Whirling Wonder Ferris Wheel that captures the whole park, a sporty Off-Road Adventure ride, and our Wonderland Express train that lets you see the vastness of our 25-acres.
More Than 25 Attractions
Morgan’s Wonderland offers something for everyone! We have more than 25 wheelchair-accessible attractions such as rides, playscapes, and interactive elements. But we are much more than a place to play. We are also a place to learn. Our Community Based Instruction (CBI) programs educate the community about inclusion. Since its inception, we have served more than 60 Texas school districts and over 250,000 students through this program.

The term Ultra-Accessible™ is at the heart of what we do. We believe in a world of inclusion where everyone can access opportunities for fun and play regardless of age or ability. As of February 2022, Morgan's Wonderland has welcomed guests from all 50 states and 122 other countries, showing the power of inclusive play!

More Than A Health Facility A “One-Stop-Shop” for Individuals with Special Needs
Individuals with special needs face challenges identifying service options. If they do find service options, some providers may be spread too far to access. This fragmentation of services and lack of communication/coordination between providers are major obstacles for families trying to gain a streamline services for their loved ones.
The first of its kind in the nation, The MAC Care Model, focuses on the population with special needs. The MAC Care Model will incorporate over 30 community partners providing coordinated services in one facility and communication through one platform. The focus of The MAC Care Model will be to identify and address Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) using our MAC Navigation System. Studies show that SDoH and behavioral factors are responsible for 70% of an individual’s overall health.
Here is where “The MAC” steps in with its unique, one-stop-shop model that provides collaborative care and centralized services. Focusing on comprehensive medical and therapeutic and community support services for individuals with special needs of all ages. The MAC is dedicated to ensuring Ultra-Accessible ™, efficient and effective access to services throughout the South Texas region.
The MAC will assign every MAC client a Navigator to assess, refer, track, and coordinate services. The Navigator will accompany The MAC client through their journey and be a support for them via our MAC Navigation System and The MAC Care Model.
