Our journey began in the verdant landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, where we first drew back the sliding doors of the pioneering Natural Retreats “eco-lodge” in 2006.
We encouraged guests to discover the true luxury of nature, where modern self-catering properties were complimented by contemporary standards of hospitality; whilst set to inspiring landscapes that left guests feeling invigorated and longing to return.
The demand for these unique experiences went beyond all expectations and reflected the changing needs of a traditional travel sector that had remained dormant for decades. The need to evolve was clear, and so began our unwavering mission to deliver amazing holidays, as a boutique agent, operator, vendor and more latterly, guardian of luxury holiday homes.
A decade later, having established a strong presence in Scotland, North Wales and the South West, and keen to venture into new territories, we re-branded as Together Travel Co.
Together Travel Co. embodies our shared passion for travel and great hospitality, where in an increasingly fast-paced world, families and friends are often separated by distance. Yet, despite all the wonders of modern technology available today - nothing can beat the joy of slowing down and reconnecting with loved ones in person.

Whilst retaining our commitment to high standards, we also wanted to introduce a broader portfolio of holiday destinations to our loyal followers, in beautiful market towns like York and Chester. Forming the Ark Collection in 2019, we identified and partnered with privately owned holiday homes that we felt reflected our approach to quality and service.
Similarly, our new “Down to Earth” collection may also appeal to those seeking an authentic glamping-style holiday at a slower pace, akin to camping but with a few home comforts thrown in!

We stayed here for two nights in a beautiful, fully equipped apartment in John O’Groats. It was the perfect place to relax in comfort after a long and busy tour around the east of Scotland.
We only wish we could have stayed longer, as the surroundings offered such a peaceful and spacious environment. We highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely return on our next visit to Scotland.
