Pressure of the backrest can be varied to suit the user by using the rotational control on the right hand side of the chair next to the height adjustment lever.

The control can be rotated forward to increase the pressure or backwards to reduce the pressure.

Arm height may be adjusted using the button, located below the arm pad.

Width adjustment is a standard feature, armrests may be adjusted in width by pulling down the lever under the base of the arm. The arm is then adjusted to the width required and the lever is pushed up to secure.

The height of the lumbar support can be adjusted to give your back additional support in the lumbar region.

CORRECT USE

This office swivel chair is designed for a user weight of up to 150kg and should only be used for the purpose intended while exercising due care and attention. Using it inappropriately (eg. as a stepladder, sitting on the armrests) could result in accidents.

CASTORS

Different Castors are available, for the sake of your safety and for use on different types of flooring in accordance with safety regulations: Hard castors for soft floors (standard). Soft castors for hard floors are optional. Changing castors: this might be necessary, for instance, after moving office, or after the installation of a new floor surface – simply pull out the castors and push new ones in.

PLASTIC PARTS

Mild soapy water is suitable for cleaning. Please do not use any aggressive cleaning materials or bleach-based cleaning agents.

UPHOLSTERY

In the case of light soiling to the upholstery, please only use suitable mild detergents. The upholstery should only be changed by skilled persons. To maintain the character and durability of the upholstery, it should be vacuumed on a regular basis.

LEATHER

Leather is a natural product that will stretch and change colour over time, grain details and markings give the material its unmistakable character. Rub off light soiling with a soft woollen cloth. Heavier soiling should only be treated with cleaners designed for the purpose. Avoid direct prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

SERVICING

Servicing work, such as exchanging or working on the gas-lifts, may only be carried out by trained Senator personnel.
