A truly standout occasion I am pleased to introduce this edition of Better Tomorrow, reflecting on what was a truly standout occasion for the ILC Property Claims community. The 2026 ILC Property Claims Networking Lunch once again demonstrated the strength, generosity and spirit that defines this sector. Bringing together a record 500-plus senior leaders at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London the event provided an opportunity not only to reconnect and share ideas, but to reinforce the relationships that underpin the industry. What stands out most for me, however, is the extraordinary fundraising effort achieved on the day. Together, the ILC community raised over £21,000 for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity in just a few hours. To see that level of support - combined with the milestone of surpassing £1.5m in total donations from the ILC community - is both humbling and inspiring. It is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when the sector comes together with a shared purpose. Rainbow Trust continues to provide vital emotional and practical support to families facing unimaginable challenges, and it is a privilege for ILC to play a part in supporting that work. The commitment shown by everyone involved ensures that this support can continue to reach those who need it most.

For me, this event encapsulates what ILC is all about. It is not just about bringing people together - it is about creating an environment where collaboration thrives, ideas are shared, and, importantly, where the industry can make a meaningful difference beyond its day-to-day work.
