£60,000 raised for Rainbow Trust

Welcome to this special ‘pictoral’ ILC Motor Claims Networking Lunch issue of Better Tomorrow – the ILC post-event publication designed to keep the sector up to speed on all the latest discussions and insights from across the claims sector.

The event helped raise £60,000 for children’s charity Rainbow Trust taking ILC’s total fundraising efforts for the charity to just shy of £1,300,000 to date. A huge thank you to everyone for supporting such a worthy cause.

The sell-out event, took place at the Grand Connaught Rooms on Friday 19 January, attracting over 460 the industry’s leading influencers for an afternoon of celebration, networking and a united show of support for our amazing charity partner.

Joined by Rainbow Trust CEO, Zillah Bingley the event included a table raffle, silent auction and live auction hosted by former World and European Champion 4x400m athlete, ex-professional basketball player, revered high-performance expert and auctioneer on Channel 4s The Greatest Auction - Derek Redmond. Included amongst the prizes were a Taylor Swift concert package, Claridge’s ‘Lunch with the Legends’, and, of course, the highly sought Rainbow Trust Teddy Bears pledge.

Derek was one of two superstar athletes present during the day with rugby legend Jason Robinson joining the line-up. Interviewed by Derek during a post-lunch Q&A, Jason talked about growing up, finding rugby and some of the major successes he achieved in both Rugby League, Rugby Union and international duties.
