We are joining Illinois Pork and JBS to host three in-person Livestock Truck Rollover Trainings later this summer, designed to help local emergency responders. The goal of these workshops is to better prepare responders for handling livestockrelated incidents, and increase improved outcomes for truckers, livestock, and producers when an incident occurs.
The course includes classroom content on livestock behavior, responder safety, scene management, and handling priorities. In addition, there will be a hands-on walk-through using a livestock trailer and an interactive discussion with Q&A with trainers experienced in animal welfare and emergency response. Upon completion of the course, each attendee will receive a training certificate. These sessions are free, but registration is required. Please help share the word with your local emergency responder organizations about these free, upcoming training opportunities.
