The recent development of battery powered applications is improving the need of efficient step up dc-dc converters. Nowadays, step
up conversion is widely used in many applications like Electric vehicles, Photovoltaic (PV) system, Uninterruptable power supplies
(UPS) and fuel cell system. By paralleling the converters, the input current can be shared among inductors so that high reliability
and efficiency in power electronic systems can be obtained. Cuk converter is one of the most versatile Buck -Boost converter
topologies that is output voltage from converter can be both lower and higher than input voltage. The advantages of using cuk
converter over the conventional Buck-Boost topology are continuous current at both input and output and low output voltage ripple
with properly designed filter.
