: Bhumi Pareeksha, i.e elaborated study of land is one of the former techniques adopted by our ancestors before growing
any kind of food on it. It is done here at Charak upvan, our college garden placed close to Amberi, Udaipur in anticipation of the
ongoing model nursery project for medicinal plant cultivation. Soil testing in this area is done with both Ayurvedic aspects to
know Mahabhoot predominance, Rasa predominance, etc, and modern aspects to ascertain the mineral contents of the soil and
calculate the requirement of fertilizer dose for the cultivation of Shweta musali.
