This is project is the combined usage of both mathematical and simulation techniques to address the issues of optimizations. This will be addressing only those factors which are commonly faced as a challenge during the management of fleet equipment system based upon a thorough literature study it has been found that many problems are associated with the combination of shovel-dumper system from equipment selection and their performance evaluating (matching factor, cycle time, allocation, queuing, loading time...) these are few Various methods have been employed to model truck-shovel system. Some of these methods rely on empirical rules or trial and error and some are highly mathematical requiring significant computational effort.
