IDÉ House of Brands Policy for responsible business conduct and supplier Code of Conduct Introduction IDÉ House of Brands adheres to the principles of responsible business conduct, which encompass respect for people, society, and the environment. This document, which includes our Supplier Code of Conduct and our Code of Ethics, serves as the foundation for our work in the field of sustainability. IDÉ House of Brands considers responsible business conduct to be a prerequisite for sustainable development, defined as the ability to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs1. Our objective is to deliver goods that are safe for people, society, and the environment. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent the world's common action plan for sustainable development. IDÉ House of Brands actively engages with the SDGs. As a member of Ethical Trade Norway, IDÉ House of Brands commits to working actively with due diligence for responsible business conduct2. Due diligence is a risk-based approach to respect and safeguard people, society, and the environment in our own business and throughout the supply chain. We expect our suppliers and partners to follow the same approach.
Requirements - own business – IDÉ House of Brands IDÉ House of Brands adheres to the principle of treating all partners and suppliers with respect and in accordance with the tenets of good business practice. The company's assignments for customers are carried out with the objective of providing high-quality services and products, and customers can be assured that the advice provided is in their best interest and not motivated by self-interest. In all interactions with business partners, employees are expected to adopt a friendly and polite tone. Furthermore, they are required to act in a prudent manner at all times and refrain from any actions that could potentially erode confidence in the company. It is imperative that personal preferences do not influence the selection of suppliers, products, or services. Rather, decisions should be made based on the business needs at hand. Our policy for responsible business conduct serves as the foundation for our sustainability initiatives, including those pertaining to the supply chain. We strive to enhance our policies and practices where appropriate.
