The most widely anticipated game of the year will return in all its orange glory on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 4 a.m. Mountain Time. And the 2023 version is doubling up on the winnings – offering TWO guaranteed top prizes of $1,000,000 each! Last year’s game sold out in just 22 days, ending on November 12, 2022 – the earliest in the history of the game. Many players asked for a second raffle. The Lottery listened and responded with a new look to the classic game. This year, the Idaho Lottery’s favorite Holiday game will feature more tickets (450,000 of the $10 tickets) and two million dollar prizes. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. “Idahoans love playing Idaho-only games. We responded to our players’ requests by offering another one-million-dollar top prize. We increased the total number of prizes and made more tickets available for purchase so everyone has the opportunity to participate,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle as a game has produced one-fifth of all the Idaho Lottery’s millionaires. To get you and your players ready for this year’s Raffle, here’s everything you need to know: EARLY-BIRD PROMO DETAILS: The Lottery is giving players a chance to win early and often by giving away fifteen $1,000 prizes for ticket purchases made in the first fifteen days of this year’s Raffle!
Retailer Newsleter Published October 2023 Each day, the Idaho Lottery will randomly select one ticket number purchased from the previous day to win the daily $1,000 prize. Players need only purchase a ticket each day to be qualified for the next day’s draw. Winning numbers from the daily draw will be shown on the Lottery’s video monitors at retail stores, announced on the Lottery’s web page, and also announced on the Lottery’s social media channels – Facebook and Instagram. Players who win one of the first fifteen days $1,000 prizes must claim their prize at the Idaho Lottery offices in Boise. Their ticket will remain eligible to win additional prizes in this year’s Raffle, including both $1,000,000 top prizes. WIN $1,000 WITH EVERY 25000TH TICKET SOLD: Just like the past few years, now eighteen lucky players are going to win $1,000 instantly when they purchase a 25000th ticket. Here’s how it works: • The player who buys ticket 025000 will receive a serial-numbered voucher stating they’ve won a $1,000 prize! • Every subsequent 25000th ticket sold will also generate a winning experience. So, tickets 050000, 075000, 100000, 125000, 150000, 175000, 200000, 225000, 250000, 275000, 300000, 325000, 350000, 375000, 400000, 425000, and 450000 will all receive a $1,000 winning voucher to claim at the Lottery. Quietly humming the classic Christmas carol with a similar name might become a common refrain when your customers start playing O’ Christmas Spree, the Scratch Game from the Idaho Lottery this holiday season. With two joyful top prizes of $50,000, the most intriguing feature of the game are the five, second-tier prizes; the actual Christmas Shopping Spree itself. Five lucky players will have the chance to participate in a live event at an Idaho Fred Meyer location in (or nearest to) the winning player’s area. If the player reveals the word SPREE on their ticket, they should contact the Idaho Lottery to schedule a live Shopping Spree event. The live event will be broadcast on Facebook and feature a “Deal or No Deal” style game where players select one of five boxes with the games’ prizes inside: $1000, $2000, $3000, $4000, or $5000. Players will eliminate other boxes until there are two boxes remaining. The player can then choose to open their original box, or the remaining box, to determine their prize! Winners will get to shop immediately and will get the remaining amount on a gift card. Let your players know about O’ Christmas Spree when the game debuts on October 12!
