One of the most important holidays in Mexico is now the newest Idaho Lottery Scratch Game. Día de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is celebrated on November 1 and 2 every year. The holiday is when families remember and honor their deceased loved ones. It is not a scary or sad event, but rather a happy celebration of life and memories. Día de los Muertos, the Scratch Game honors these traditions as each colorful game ticket features a family-style home alter, called an ofrenda, with sugar skulls, photos, and candles. Bright flowers of remembrance balance out the artwork. In the game players scratch winning numbers hidden under the lit candles and match them to your numbers under el papel picado – the paper tissue thingys. If the number matches, the player wins the prize shown. If the player reveals a skull symbol, they win that prize automatically. Día de los Muertos promises to be a top seller throughout the fall this year. Let your players know about Día de los Muertos, celebrate passed family members, win one of the two top prizes of $50,000.
