Itās one of the oldest lottery games; Old World meets New World, old. Steeped in both tradition and culture, Loteria was born in Italy in the 16th century, and brought to New Spain (Mexico) in the 18th century where it ļ¬ourished in popularity and three centuries of longevity.
Don Clementeās iconic images became part of Mexican culture in the late 19th century. Cards were even distributed to soldiers with their rations and supplies. In all, there are 54 Don Clemente images used to play the bingo-style game.
Every ticket comes with a ļ¬esta of colorful playing windows and the chance to win up to $50,000. The 2nd edition of the popular Idaho Lottery version of Loteria showcases nine classic designs, featuring El Gallo (the rooster), La Sirena (the mermaid), El Catrin (the fancily dressed man), La Luna (the moon), La Dama (the lady), La Garza (the heron), La Bota (the boot), El Sol (the sun), and El Mundo (the world).
The game plays like a traditional bingo game with sixteen colorful designs as spaces. Players match the images of the Callerās Card to the images in the Playing Board. They win prizes by completing rows and columns. The game even features three bonus cards to increase the chances of winning.
Players can turn their non-winning tickets into a winner, just by entering them for a chance to win the exclusive trip to Paris, France! All non-winning Millionaire for Life tickets are eligible for the trip of a lifetime to the City of Love.
From now until April 22, 2026, at 11:59 pm MT, players can enter all their non-winning tickets into the second chance draw through the Idaho Lotteryās VIP Club. One lucky winner and a guest will be strolling along the Seine in the City of Light in no time!

This legislative session Idaho Lottery worked collaboratively with the Idaho Legislature to pass a measure aimed at extraordinarily large bulk purchases of lottery tickets by out-of-state syndicates. Many of you expressed concern over the heavy-handed tactics used by some members of these groups demanding service and sales at the expense of your ability to serve other customers and complete other transactions. And, we listened. PROJECT ICARUS TAKES FLIGHT AT FORREST M. BIRD CHARTER

At the back of Forrest M. Bird Charter School in Sandpoint, students climb into a Cessna 172, go through takeoff procedures and ļ¬nd themselves in the air. Well, almost.
In reality, students step into a model of the cockpit equipped with the latest ļ¬ight simulator equipment from Logitech and a VR headset to be transported into their very own CESSNA 172. Thanks to a Classroom Wishlist award from the Idaho Lottery, Kevin Kless, a science teacher at FBCS, is bringing a new hands-on learning experience to his classroom.
āIt was like winning a scratch off,ā Kless said. āI've had this idea for quite some time. Yeah, I just never had the funding capacity to do so... once I started using the simulators about 10 years ago, I could see the educational value, and I could see its potential."
Kless, a retired Air Force veteran, said heās had the idea for a ļ¬ight-sim-based class for around a decade. Still in its early phases, Kless has lofty goals for the project, hoping to recreate an entire air trafļ¬c control center with students while others ļ¬y the planes.

Kless said the class will learn a variety of subjects and concepts, then apply that knowledge in real world situations. Kless said this is how students can use applied physics knowledge in the real world. He added that this allows him as a teacher to connect with students of all types of learning disciplines.

IDAHO FALLS MAN WINS FORD F-150 TREMOR TRUCK
An Idaho Falls man has claimed the second top prize of a Ford F-150 Tremor Truck from the Idaho Lottery Scratch game Bucks nā Trucks. Joshua Hatļ¬eld, a farmer from Idaho Falls, bought the lucky winning ticket from the Super Store in Post Falls.
āI was traveling the state for work and was in north Idaho. I do my research on the Scratch games, especially when games are close to selling out. If thereās a Scratch game that looks like itās about to end, Iāll stop at places along the way and buy a few at a time,ā said Hatļ¬eld. āI was looking for tickets on the game

Bucks nā Trucks was 99.43% sold when Hatļ¬eld made his trek to northern Idaho. One of the tickets turned out to be the second top prize of a fully loaded Ford F-150 Tremor Truck and $10,000 cash.
