It’s one of the oldest lottery games; Old World meets New World, old. Steeped in both tradition and culture, Loteria was born in Italy in the 16th century, and brought to New Spain (Mexico) in the 18th century where it flourished in popularity and three centuries of longevity. Don Clemente’s iconic images became part of Mexican culture in the late 19th century. Cards were even distributed to soldiers with their rations and supplies. In all, there are 54 Don Clemente images used to play the bingo-style game. Every ticket comes with a fiesta of colorful playing windows and the chance to win up to $50,000. The 2nd edition of the popular Idaho Lottery version of Loteria showcases nine classic designs, featuring El Gallo (the rooster), La Sirena (the mermaid), El Catrin (the fancily dressed man), La Luna (the moon), La Dama (the lady), La Garza (the heron), La Bota (the boot), El Sol (the sun), and El Mundo (the world). The game plays like a traditional bingo game with sixteen colorful designs as spaces. Players match the images of the Caller’s Card to the images in the Playing Board. They win prizes by completing rows and columns. The game even features three bonus cards to increase the chances of winning. From now until April 22, 2026, at 11:59 pm MT, players can enter all their non-winning tickets into the second chance draw through the Idaho Lottery’s VIP Club. Since Millionaire for Life launched we’ve had some great questions: How many states play Millionaire for Life? There are 31 lotteries that are participating in the new Millionaire for Life game. How does a player win playing Millionaire for Life? There are nine ways to win. Players win just by matching any two numbers to the numbers drawn. What is the second-tier prize? The second-tier prize is $100,000 a year for life and is won when you match all five balls without matching the millionaire ball.

The Paris package for two includes round-trip airline tickets in the Delta One travel class, black car transfer for a five-night stay at a luxury hotel, a sunset dinner cruise on the River Seine, a private tour of the Louvre, a romantic dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower and $3,000 spending cash. Of course, your players could also win $1,000,000 a year for life playing the game, too. This trip is only available for Idaho Lottery players. “Viva la France!”
How are the top prizes paid? Both the jackpot and second-tier prize can be paid as an annuity, or a one-time, cash lump sum payment. How much is the one-time cash lump sum? The one-time cash lump sum for the jackpot is $18,000,000. The one-time cash lump sum for the second-tier prize is $2.2 million. Is there a minimum annuity payment? Yes, the minimum guaranteed annuity for both prizes is 20 years. Can a winner pass on their annuity in the unlikely event of death? Yes. The annuity prize can be willed to the winner’s estate.
