workplace, indeed areas, for all our number one priority. will be I know I before and I will going forward, rest assured of that
The nature of our work, the environment in which we find ourselves, can be extremely dangerous and I cannot impress upon you enough the need to look after yourselves and colleagues whilst in the workplace. Recent events show that it’s not just within the workplace.
The safety culture that is instilled in you all, within the data centres, around the busy airports and aircraft and in other corporate contracts too should be passed on to your loved ones at home too It’s what we do, it’s in our company DNA - we protect, we secure, we always ensure safety
It is therefore heartwarming and outstanding that ICTS UK at London Heathrow Airport has won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, you can read more inside these pages
Of course, this time of the year sees the sudden increase in flights as the airlines ramp up for their summer schedule For the first time in the history of ICTS, not just the UK but across Europe, we will be securing every US airline flight westbound to the United States That is some feat, some statement, and it fills me with utmost pride that our company has the depth, strength and passion to provide that consistent level of service far and beyond.
I know that same commitment, strength and passion is also applied to all our other clients within the Corporate Division and other non-US airlines and Airports too
Congratulations too goes to Tuyangalala Ngombo, the ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction 2026 for his outstanding work during an incident at United College Group (UCG)
I look forward to coming out into the operation again and surprising some of you with your service award pins, something I have been unable to do in recent months and have missed.
So please enjoy the stories within these pages - we have so much to be proud of, enjoy the summer, enjoy the World Cup and as usual I’ll end withtake care and
Andy

Paul’s charity of choice: Asthma + Lung UK.

Paul Darrington said, “I chose to support a COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Charity because it’s a cause very close to my heart My mother suffered from COPD for many years, and sadly, it’s the illness that took her from us Donating and raising awareness feels like a meaningful way to honour her memory and help others facing the same struggle It allows me to turn a difficult personal experience into something positive that could make a difference for other families ”

It costs around £319 for a day of the best research to find new solutions to the biggest challenges in respiratory prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management So you can see what valuable support you’re helping to provide, with your donation of £5,000 you could pay for three weeks of life-changing research!
Through the support of our incredible fundraisers and supporters, we will fight for every breath so that one day we will have a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs.”

The ICTS UK Gender Pay Gap Report 2024 – 2025 has been published and is available from the ICTS UK website
Hourly pay gap:
o The mean pay gap narrowed from 0.54% to 0.25%, indicating continued convergence of average hourly rates
o The median pay gap moved from 2 73% (women higher) to 0 73% (women still higher but closer to parity) This suggests the mid point of women’s pay remains slightly above men’s, though the difference reduced

Bonuses:
o The mean bonus gap increased slightly (48 43% → 49 02%), reflecting that average bonuses for men remain materially higher
o The median bonus gap rose more noticeably (6 25% → 14 58%), implying distribution changes around the middle of bonus awards (e g , higher median awards for men or reduced median awards for women).

Bonus eligibility/receipt:
o A higher proportion of women than men received a bonus again this year (24 55% vs 18 80%), but the amounts awarded to men are still higher on average and at the median

Quartile representation:
o Women represent ~32–37% of each quartile, with limited variation This indicates consistent under representation of women across the structure rather than sharp drop offs at the top; the composition suggests a pipeline/attraction and retention opportunity across all levels, especially in male dominated roles.

At the beginning of April, we said farewell to William “Willie” Masson, who retired after an extraordinary 48 years of service at Aberdeen Airport
During Willie’s time with us, airport security has undergone a seismic change – particularly in the years following Lockerbie – and throughout it all, Willie remained a steady, reliable and positive presence. Known for his upbeat attitude and good humour, he was someone colleagues could always count on and a true credit to the team After nearly five decades on the job, Willie earned the respect of everyone he worked with and was valued as a consistently positive and dependable colleague
To mark his retirement, Willie was presented with an engraved quaich from his colleagues at ICTS A traditional Scottish drinking cup, the quaich symbolises friendship, trust and respect – making it a fitting tribute to a colleague who embodied all three.
As he begins this next chapter, Willie tells us that he’s looking forward to tackling the list of jobs waiting for him kindly prepared by his wife Elaine
Willie, thank you for everything – you will be greatly missed, and we wish you a long, happy, and well-earned retirement ”

“My journey began in April 2011 when ICTS secured the American Airlines contract After completing my training, I started working on the security gates, carrying out baggage and body searches Shortly afterwards, I moved into profiling duties, where I developed my skills and gained valuable experience within the aviation security industry.
As the business evolved, so did my career Around 2017–2018, I transferred to the United Airlines contract, where I continued to expand my knowledge and experience in security operations In 2019, I joined the Campus operation during a strike period to support the business. What was initially intended as temporary support soon became a permanent move, and I have proudly remained part of the Campus team for the past six years
One of the biggest reasons I have enjoyed my time with ICTS is the people Throughout my career, I have worked alongside dedicated colleagues, supportive supervisors, and inspiring managers who have helped shape my journey I would like to thank supervisors such as Shaun, Viad, Zain, Sahar, and the entire Campus supervisory team, as well as managers including Pinky, Bhogal, Andre, Junaid, Rasheed, Sunny, and Aman. Their support, guidance, and leadership have contributed greatly to my development over the years
The Campus operation has become a second home to me I have built strong working relationships, made lasting friendships, and had the opportunity to contribute to a team that consistently works hard to deliver high standards Being part of such a dedicated and professional operation has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
The reason I have stayed with ICTS for 15 years is simple: the company has provided me with stability, opportunities, and the chance to grow While there have been challenges along the way, there have also been countless opportunities to learn, develop, and be part of a successful team ICTS has supported me throughout my career, and I am grateful for that
