Icomera’s new AI-augmented video analytics module for Automatic Passenger Counting (APC), ICONIC APC, is part of its ICOmera Network Insights & Control (ICONIC) suite of tools and services.
ICONIC APC is an advanced, camera-based AI video analytics application which leverages cutting-edge machine learning technology, optical data from cameras, and geolocation, to count passengers with an accuracy rating of over 98%.
Transport operators can reliably monitor total occupancy levels from each vehicle, including boarding/alighting numbers per station, and total vehicle ingress/egress, all in real-time.
Smart utilisation of assets is also always top of mind. With ICONIC APC, operators can benefit from the dual function of cameras for both APC and video surveillance. This greatly reduces the time and costs needed to install and maintain separate sensors or other pieces of hardware.
