As we close the final quarter and bring the year 2025 to an end, it is a meaningful moment to pause and reflect on what has been an exceptional year for our organization. Beyond the celebrations that marked this milestone, the true highlight lies in the remarkable achievements we accomplished together. Among the many successes of 2025, I would like to recognize a few key milestones:

A Colleague Heartbeat score of 92 points, representing an improvement of 10 points compared to last Year. A 30% increase in service charge compared to 2024. A Matrix score of 9 out of 9 Exceeding budget expectations in both Revenue and GOP, achieving the highest results since the hotel’s opening. These accomplishments are only a snapshot of what we achieved this year; the full list would be extensive.

While we are grateful for the continued support of our owners and the strength of the company we represent, the true driving force behind these results is our people. It is your commitment, professionalism, and dedication that made the difference. I am extremely proud to lead such an outstanding team. Your resilience and high standards, even in a challenging environment, provide confidence and inspiration every day. Wherever you are and whatever role you fulfill across the island, your contribution has been invaluable. With the momentum and teamwork demonstrated throughout 2025, I am confident that we are well positioned for another successful year ahead.

Diversity & Inclusion : We proudly celebrated the National Days of China, Taiwan, and Kazakhstan, along with Germany’s Unity Day and the Republic and Victory Days of the Maldives, highlighting the rich cultural diversity within our community. Each celebration honored the history, traditions, and national pride of our colleagues, while bringing us together in the spirit of unity and mutual respect By sharing these meaningful moments, we continue to strengthen a workplace culture that values inclusion and the unique contributions of every individual, creating a more connected and supportive team.

BINGO: The courtyard was filled with energy and cheerful competition as colleagues came together for an afternoon of Bingo. What truly made the event special were the shared laughter, light-hearted moments, and strong team spirit that transformed a simple game into a joyful and memorable experience.

One Day Digu Tournament :In celebration of togetherness and friendly competition, colleagues gathered for an exciting session of Digu, the popular card game that brought out quick thinking, teamwork, and plenty of laughter The atmosphere was lively as players challenged one another in good spirits, showcasing sharp moves and playful strategies at every round Beyond the game itself, the event strengthened connections and created a shared sense of enjoyment reminding us that whether at the table or at work, success comes from cooperation, focus, and enjoying the journey together.

Annual Party 2025 : The Annual Party 2025, themed “Fantasy”, whisked colleagues into a magical evening of wonder and celebration The night sparkled with departmental performances that brought imaginative worlds to life, thrilling raffles, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding achievements. A lively DJ kept the dance floor enchanted, while whimsical decorations and costumes added to the fantastical atmosphere Beyond the entertainment, the event strengthened connections, celebrated creativity, and reminded everyone of the joy of coming together as a community making it a truly unforgettable night.

Baani Event 2025 : The Baani Event 2025, organized by the Baa Atoll Council for islands and resorts, made history by achieving a Guinness World Record for the largest group snorkeling simultaneously The event brought participants together in a spectacular display of unity, excitement, and adventure, as the waters came alive with energy and celebration. Beyond breaking the record, the event highlighted teamwork, community spirit, and shared joy proving that when people come together with enthusiasm and collaboration, extraordinary achievements are possible

MEC Legends 2025: The ICM team proudly participated in the MEC Legends Futsal Challenge, competing against skilled teams from across the region. The tournament was filled with fast-paced action, thrilling goals, and impressive teamwork and determination Beyond the competition, the ICM team was recognized as the Fair Play Team, highlighting sportsmanship, integrity, and respect on and off the field The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow teams, celebrate the spirit of futsal, and build lasting camaraderie a true celebration of unity, collaboration, and the power of sports to bring people together.

International Chefs Day : In celebration of International Chefs Day, colleagues came together for a delightful cakecutting ceremony to honor the creativity, dedication, and passion of our culinary team The event was filled with warmth and camaraderie as participants gathered to appreciate the chefs’ hard work in bringing exceptional dining experiences to life Laughter, conversations, and shared admiration for the culinary arts created a lively and festive atmosphere, turning the simple act of cutting a cake into a meaningful moment of connection Beyond recognizing individual talents, the celebration highlighted teamwork, inspired collaboration across departments, and reinforced the important role that chefs play in our everyday success It was a heartwarming occasion that reminded everyone that behind every delicious dish is skill, passion, and a team working together to make moments memorable

Foosball Tournament : The Foosball Tournament together for an afternoon of fast-paced fun and spirited competition in a series of exciting matches, while laughter and friendly banter than tournament provided an opportunity to connect across departments, celebrate enjoy enthusiasm turning a simple sport into a memorable experience

Inter-Departmental Futsal Challenge 2025

Matches were filled with intense rallies, clever strategies, and moments of sheer excitement, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. Beyond the thrill of competition, the tournament offered a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to bond, cheer for one another, and showcase the spirit of collaboration that defines our workplace. It was a day of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories, leaving participants inspired and more connected than ever across departments.

Career Day in the Hospitality Industry : In collaboration with Meedhoo School, we hosted a comprehensive Career Day in the Hospitality Industry, providing students with an in-depth look into the diverse career opportunities available in the sector. The event featured interactive sessions, engaging presentations, and hands-on demonstrations, allowing students to experience various aspects of hospitality from culinary arts and guest services to management and event planning Industry professionals shared their insights, career journeys, and practical tips, inspiring students to explore their interests and aspirations. As we approached the conclusion of a remarkable business year, General Manager Reinhold and our Sales Team have travelled to Malé in December to personally connect with our key partners. Over the course of two days, the team visited 15 of our top-producing Destination Management Companies (DMCs) at their offices These visits were an opportunity to share festive greetings and express our gratitude for their unwavering support throughout the year. Beyond the celebration, these meetings served to reinforce our core partnerships as we look forward to achieving even greater milestones together in 2026.

Friendly volleyball Matches :Colleagues came together for a friendly volleyball match, enjoying fun, teamwork, and lively competition. The event strengthened connections, fostered camaraderie, and provided a memorable opportunity to bond and have fun together

Christmas Party :

The Christmas Party 2025 was a festive evening filled with music, dancing, and holiday cheer.

The DJ kept the energy high, creating a fun and joyful celebration that brought colleagues together to share memorable moments.

Our Rewards & Recognition segment highlights colleagues who consistently go above and beyond, embodying our values and making a meaningful impact Over recent months, we’ve seen remarkable examples of leadership, creativity, collaboration, and resilience. Whether achieving exceptional results, supporting teammates, or delivering innovative solutions, these individuals truly shine.
