A word from our CEO

Normal service resumes

As we approach 2022 with international travel once again possible, The Ian Potter Cultural Trust Board of Trustees and staff look forward to returning to business as usual; awarding grants to support emerging artists to undertake professional development opportunities overseas. Our funding rounds, which were paused in September 2020, have re-opened for 2022 with Funding Round 1 currently open for applications. Please find more information about this Funding Round and the requirements for international travel below. The Cultural Trust team also look forward to working with our grantees who have not yet been able to travel, as they reshape or reschedule their professional development projects in 2022. While there is a sense of being ‘back on track’, I want to acknowledge the profound impact of COVID-19 on the creative industries and individual artists throughout the past two years and the lasting effects it may have on individuals’ artistic practice, career trajectories,
